ive joined it and put as main team , the only worry i have now is the team that was set as my main team before ,which was darkbattleboats .

it should have been there i signed into myself around friday , the backgammon,and five in line teams that vanished previosly was all full teams ,this was not full but ,its making it extremely difficult to join any team tournaments.

please could you do something about my fellowship , jasonsgamesroom , i have yet another team that has dissapeard ,antibackgammon has now gone from the list (every time i go to look at my list a team has vanished) i dont mean just the players in it i mean the whole team , every time this happens i lose my members in that team ....... soon i will have no team members if this carries on.

ok just the option to put a bigger on your profile page for anyone that wants to . then no-one can complain who doesnt agree or dont want one themselves , that option should satisfy everybody ;)

is it possible in the future to have a pic on our profile, bigger than the ones we have now on the discussion boards .those on the db's & the ones in the games page can be like a thumb nail pic of the one on our profile . could this be possible ?

1.so if someone only played pente games for example , even if they was number one on two or three of the boards and played nothing else would they not make the top 30 list ?

Ok i have added to the practice room fellowship for the faster moving players .

"Ряactice яoom" (unrated) & fast tournament finishes(rated).Will be renamed Two into one ,in the near future ;) for anybody that would like to play or try any new games , all on a fun basis without affecting your bkr rating .anybody interested trying something new click the link above ;).Also there is now a side to it for people who would like to play games at a quicker pace with like minded people , hopefully complete all tournaments within a week (rated).

hmmm you knew that the time limit was for x amount of days , you seriosly didnt expect everyone to play quick did you , it just doesnt happen . if you find a method of quick games let me know please .

,you cant really expect every body to move every day , like you say you might not be able to get to the pc every day .
so what i suggest is play 3 or 4 day limits just to be on the safe side so you dont time out ., ps i think moaning about people moving slow only makes them move slower (which i think you already know)

the way i look at it then if there was a rating for speed and you was away from the pc for 3 days you would see your rating and wouldnt want to play yourself because your rating would be too slow ;)

you should be able to carry on even if your slots are full, even if you became a pawn in the meantime you would still be able to carry on i believe ;)

another button could send an electric shock to the opponent to wake them up and remind them to do thier move ;)

i was going to do a fast fellowship with one tow or three day limits ,but i dont think there would be enough interest ;)

i am a quick player , but i dont see the need for percentages and all that rubbish , you could always play real time games ,, speaking of which was said to be coming here at one time but who knows ;)

the feature BBW suggested would work perfectly if for some reason you couldnt get to do your moves and you was about to run out time on one of your games as soon as the timer reached zero you would automatically get another 24 hours added to all your games (provided you have vacation days left) , but this should be for a maximun of say 10 days at any one time .

well i cant see what all the fuss is about , its a turn based site . period . games are finished when they are finished ,if you dont want to play slow players .....dont play in tournaments ,play private games or something where you cant be against slow players

Rankings
Each person will be ranked in a ladder-- number 1 is the best player. Only one person will be ranked at a particular number-- there are no ties. Each ladder type and game type will have its own, independent ranking. Rankings are updated every 15 minutes, so you'll have to wait a few minutes after winning your game to see the results displayed on the rankings page.


Moving up the ladder
The object of the ladder is to move up the ladder, perhaps ultimately to the number 1 position. To move up the ladder, you must win games. If you beat someone higher-ranked than you, then you take their spot, and everyone else moves down a spot. If you beat someone lower-ranked than you, then you move up one spot. When you lose a game, nothing happens-- you do not move in either direction. However, if you do not win games, you will eventually be pushed further and further down the ladder as others move over you.
Example: If you're ranked number 100, and you beat number 90, then you become the new number 90, and everyone else moves down one spot. If you're ranked number 100, and you beat number 110, then you would move to the number 99 position.


Number of games
For each ladder, you may be playing up to 4 games at once. You are allowed to challenge two different players, and in addition two other players are allowed to challenge YOU. If someone challenges you, and you are not on vacation, then the game will AUTOMATICALLY be created for you. You have no choice but to accept challenges from other players. In general, you must accept up to 2 challenges from other players. Similarly, when you challenge someone else, that game is created instantly if they have not already accepted two challenges.


Who you can challenge
Generally, you can challenge anyone ranked with 20 places of your current position, as long as they aren't on vacation, and they still have challenge-accept games left to play. If you're in the top 20 or bottom 20, then you will be able to challenge the top 40 or bottom 40 players respectively.

After you finish a game with a specific player, you are not allowed to challenge them again for 2 weeks. This prevents players from continuously playing the same people.


Joining existing ladders
To join an existing ladder, click the 'join a ladder' link on the main ladder page. New ladder players are added every 15 minutes, so check back in a few minutes, and you will have been added to the bottom of the ladder. Then click on someone's name to challenge them, and you'll be on your way to number 1!


Waiting lists
For ladders not yet in progress, you can join a 'waiting list'. Once enough players have signed up, the new ladder is started automatically. However, your signup is only good for 7 days, after which you will receive a message that your waiting list application has been deleted. You can immediately re-join that waiting list if you wish. We do this so that any ladders that start will have a fresh list of players on it. You can only sign up for a maximum of 5 waiting lists at any one time. After a new ladder starts, you are welcome to put your name on another waiting list. You can also remove your name from a waiting list at any time.


Starting new ladders
When a new ladder starts, the players will be ranked in the order that they joined the waiting lists. If you are ranked near the bottom, please do not complain or despair. Simply challenge someone above you, and start your climb to the top. Note that if a poor players is ranked at the top, they will soon get beaten by the stronger players below them and fall down the ladder.


Timed out games cannot be restored
If you time out in a ladder game, IT CANNOT BE RESTORED, even with your opponent's permission, even if it's due to system problems on our end. The reason is because the rankings are dependent on the ORDER in which games finish, and once the rankings have changed, they cannot be changed back. Keep in mind that you are not penalized for losing a ladder game (you basically remain at the same ranking), so if you do time out, simply challenge someone else and try again.

well you just cant win lol people moan at people for moving too slow ,and now because they move too quick ,
if people are online when im online i will move as many moves as possible in that game ,not to try and catch them out ontime ,but because i like playing fast .if i didnt i wouldnt play two day limits .

maple. some people have to work ...so only move when they can ...i for one dont want a percentage of time against my moves ...i move when i want as much as i want . what a pointless idea...

points matches are not always fair , take five in line and a 3 point matches (which is what happens now) , with winners from two sections .the first prson to move (white) will almost always get the three points before black does . this is why we would be better if we had pro version . it would work for some of the games though .

personally i usually have two yo three hundred games at once maybe more , i like to play fast on alot of the games and after an hour or so i run out of moves and are actually waitingf for someone to move , game like chess and go moko pente , do require longer thinking time and are played one after another (in my case) as apposed to playing mixed games in following moves .

bbw , the more you keep brining it up ,the more you are feeding your followers .

why not just put anyone bothering you on your enemies list then they cant see you and you have your privacy against the bad guys.

my point is that a number (my case anyhow) isnt easy to remember a name is . yes i was refering to iyt way of things . you can change your name there anytime ... but in theory you can here if people know your id number

when a user creates an account you should pick a permanant id (eg for me it could be jason091068) then you always have that on your profile , so if there was 10 jasons i could look on the profile and see jason091068 and know who i was playing with ;)

im not sure to which games you refer too grenv but i know it works with checkers and five in line at least also tank battle works correctly ,other games i havent took any notice ;)

i dont brag about my rating but i do care about them . the only thing i find is that im ranked number two in five in line but this doesnt mean that im the second best or anything like that , it means i have played more games than some other people . there are people out there that i cant win , but my point is i could get to number one if i played enough games .

fencer , when i look on someones profile ,it used to show how many games they was playing ,now we need to click a link to see the amount of games they have , would it be possible to have a number of games in play ? (if i am looking for someone who had available slots ect then i could see straight away without having to click a link) . just a number indicating the amount of games would be fine ,if i wanted any more info i could click on the link already there ;)

paying members shouldnt be restricted in the anount of moves a day , i do suggest that there could be a maximun abount of games though maybe 500 or there abouts , i wouldnt like to be limited on moves though
