Mélusine: There were some fatalities and lot's of homes, businesses and vehicles destroyed by flooding mostly, and a few by tornadoes. So many people here are still without power. Some cell phones are still a bit sketchy, some still don't have internet. It's a big mess..mainly on the coast. Sorry to hear you get hurricanes too. I dread them.
ScarletRose: I'm so sorry for your loss,Cathy. I know it's hard. The only thing keeping me going after my dad passed is knowing that he is with our Lord in heaven, no longer suffering, and enjoying his rewards. I know that he wouldn't want to come back to this horrible world. I will keep you in my prayers. Much love to you and God's comforting arms around you.
_Road Runner___: Praying for you, dear friend. Hope you are ok. It's not like you to not be on here and time out on your games. Others are worried about you too. Praying for you every day.
_Road Runner___: Thank you so much! I've been without power and had no service. All around us got hit pretty hard. We just got a lot of property damage, and some houses damaged, but mainly a lot of downed power lines and trees. What a mess. I feel so bad for those around us that especially got hit hard and all the flooding and lost lives and lost homes. I'm thankful to be here, house still standing, and back online.
I haven't heard from MelissaMarie since Hurricane Ian, she lives near Sarasota where it hit land, lets hope its just a power cut and that her and her family, pets and property are all fine!
Thank you for your prayers, Cathy. I'm so sorry to hear that about your dad and your mom. That is so sad. Will definitely be keeping you and your parents in my prayers.
Prayers for Melissa and Melusine... my father is 85.. we have a really good relationship.. this past Christmas.. both mom and dad had their boosters and were ill with Covid within a week.. my father recovered however during the weak part of it.. he fell and broke his left humorous bone on his left arm. My mom is 80 on Oct 6. She ended up getting blood clots.. and back on July 4th had a heart attack. She was just released from the hospital. They wanted her to go in a nursing home.. she refused so she is at home. I am not expecting her to be around too much longer. She is so out of breath. Like I get with the long haul.. but she isn't even as strong as I am.. (which isn't that strong)
MelissaMarie: Thank you. It happened 20 years ago in 2002. But it's still difficult for me because I shared many things with him. I miss him very much. Like for you. After this, I started new activities, I tried to meet more people, so as not to become depressed. Try also to see your family more often, which will give you comfort.
MelissaMarie: Sorry to read this and also very sad for you. I lost my father when he was in ICU, it was very sudden, I couldn't talk to him and he's gone, so I understand your pain. All my thoughts and prayers for you.

My dad passed away yesterday. I'm just a total wreck I feel so broken. He got covid and he wound up in ICU having a hard time breathing and also threw him into AFib. He's never had anything wrong with his heart. After days of medication he seemed well enough to go home so they sent him home. He was home for a week and then went back in the hospital. They said he had a very bad lung infection and was retaining water and respiratory infection a covid pneumonia so they put him on very strong medication for that. For a little while he started to feel better and then all of a sudden he took a turn for the worst and they put him on a ventilator. After being on a ventilator for 2 days his organs started shutting down, kidneys first and his heart. Had to give him medication to keep his heart beating but nothing was working. They took him off the vent and the meds yesterday to let him die naturally because he just wasn't going to make it. He was my rock. I miss him so much. I've never felt this much pain. I know he's with God now and I know that he would not want to come back here in this world after being in heaven, but I just miss him so much. Oh, and he was completely vaccinated Plus had his boosters and yet he still got covid and died. I will never get vaccinated.
Tuesday: Heavenly Father, please have Mercy and Grace on Ukraine and it's innocent men, women and little children. Put your shield around them and protect them as no one else ever could. May the Whole World come together in prayers. I ask this in Jesus' name. Amen
Sending healing prayers for your mom and family.. Tuesday. I don't look forward to that with mine. Although my younger brother lives with mine and since I moved back up to Wyoming in 2017 I try to help where and when I can
