BerniceC: This place may have it. http://plants.usda.gov/index.html
I am not sure if it is this site or another, I will keep looking, where you describe your plant and it gives you a list to check, great for figuring out "weeds".
CleverHunk: yes that is my web site and that is a pic i took today....about an hour ago :)
on the right is a black looking thing....that is a solar light in the pot LOLOL....and yes it is pretty
...very hard to grow apparently
BerniceC: Here is a site with the picture and name
http://www.barbados.org/plants/rose.htm
I did a google search on desert rose, and clicked images some of the pages have info as well as pics...
BerniceC: I just rechecked and i find none deleted. It could be 1 banned user and 1 on hide trying to post. There wasn't any reason for a post to be deleted.
Foxy Lady:it isnt a problem and I dont think you can check that....only Fencer would have it on his data base...but lets test.... underneath my last post on red numbers is a post I made....I will delete that and you check if you can see that it has been deleted....I dont think you can....only Fencer :)
been busy today....I have a huge Bismarkia palm in my front yard and it has thousands of seed falling to the ground. Some are as big as a small wine glass and other are nearly as big as a tea-cup (small). I have been picking them up today ....2 barrow loads full of them...nearly killed me.
Here is a pic of a bismarkia...1/2 the size of mine, they are beautiful palms but very messy :(
Foxy Lady: no, not sore...disheartened
it is nearly 7.30am sunday here and went outside to put the sprinklers on and overnight the seeds have fallen again and i reckon there would be about a bucket full waaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh.
looks as tho i will have to be doing this cleanup daily :(
What a great link that was Foxy :) thanks....we get our lawns mowed for us there is no way I can do it and of course Vern with his lungs being stuffed cant do it either....
Foxy Lady was there something wrong with my humourous sentence using botany terms that you edited?
there was nothing vulgar in it,just silly.
BerniceC I have an indoor arica palm.
nobleheart: never heard of arica so did the old google bit LOLOL....in australia we call them golden canes....well i think that is the same....can be inside or out.
*FOXY*I havent tried to buy the oil yet but have kept its name for later.

nobleheart: I'm sorry i edited your post Noble i had a very bad day.Now i'm accused of deleting posts here that i don't like, thats not true thats why i have a Glob on here for a mod.I'll give up this board if thats the case.
DanDanDan: I'm not an expert either, but firstly are they the fruiting cheery type not flowering cherries. I haven't had to prune mine but it's only 2 years old. Last year we only got a dozen or so cherries but it's laden this year. Also could be the variety might need a pollinator, Hope this helps.
Foxy Lady: oh foxy, wasnt calling you a sap,it was a play on the word "sap",I had used many botany words to make a silly paragraph..still have the text if u want to see it again..dont worry about it,it was a waste of time anyway.I thought it might give you a chuckle.
now, Any one wanna see a pic of my coleus? I can take one and post it somewhere. Its amazing how they survived a tree falling on them. Except for the fact that they were 2 feet tall and now are about 6 inches, you'd never know! lol
Eriisa: Sure you can post it here........Our garden is all cleaned out and ready for next year........My rose bush is in rose heaven we had to dig it up.......Got our Lilacs pruned and fed.Our blueberries we left for the birds as the grapes. Were getting into some early cold weather and bet we get snow by Halloween.
