As I've gleaned from the discussion about the use of vacation days, if I'm able to play those days, it'll be OK to do so. That way you can't be selective on what games to play. With a comming off vaction day that allows you to play that day but then you can't take vacation afterwords.
I personally don't care much about it, I rarely look at games where someone else it going to move. But, as I already said, all possible negative effects should be eliminated by applying a restriction of using auto-vacation in max. 5 days in a row. I think it's a sufficient time to make an arrangement even if you are in a hospital.
