I don't want to start another argument so I'll say it shortly: 1) It's everyone's right to stop playing here and it is not necessary to announce it at discussion boards. 2) When you make large enterprise applications, you usually don't do it alone and as a side project. 3) I never criticize someone else's work unless I know as much background information as possible. Especially when the work covers more jobs than a mere programming. I have recently implemented a restart-server-if-deadlock-occurs feature. It was not an easy piece of work and it needs to be finetuned. The application server restart is actually very fast - it takes only 5-10 seconds. But the overall site performance can be lower when the server is starting up. When it happens [the well-known "site is temporarily down" page], it usually helps to wait 10 seconds and reload the page. It works for me perfectly.
