Fencer I know how busy you are and this is such a minor request but the black on black is very hard to see on the Halma board. could you please fix that?

Could your problems have anything to do with Atomic Chess? It seems to seize up.

all unrated players do not have the same rating, when the new ratings are calculated. Even before it shows you your provisional rating, you still have one.

i just finished a backgammon game and as i submitted the site went down, I did not receive the "you have won message" or get a change in my rating, although the game has vanished and shows as a win on my profile...is there a reason for this?

well all my opponents in those 2 games were unrated

Just another idea of a new game that could be included on this site.
This is just like standard chess, apart from the fact that each time a player makes a move the opponent can accept it, or refuse it. If they refuse the move, then it is taken back and an alternative move is made instead which has to be accepted.
One refusal allowed for each move, any number of moves in the game.

Fencer: I also wanted to post such a remembrance post in here, but wasn´t sure which board to use. perhaps you can add a special board for special occasions? Once you have solved the bugs in here and when you have time to think out new features, could you think of adding such a new board???

dream: your rating is not just based on how many wins or losses you have...it's almost completely dependent on the ratings of your opponents. If you beat 4 players with very low ratings, compared with 4 players with very high ratings, your rating will be completely different :-)

The rating system doesnt seem to make sense, i completed 4 wins in backgammon race and started with a rating of 1890, now I have completed 4 wins in nackgammon and started with rating of 1550, no losses in either game, why is there such a huge difference in ratings?

Hi patty I am hoping and am sure fencer will reinstate any games lost while he trying to fix this major bug. You and I are lucky hun.. we can still gain access. There are most of our noodleland team who cant even get in yet.. hopefully soon it will all be rectified

fencer she's (Bernice) right i've seen this on other sites it takes up the room where others could have been.as newbie's i know we have the push or pull then paid members,but a lot can be heard from outsiders because of the fact that they ,we got around alot more then most.

I am not sure I can even get this message through w/o the 'techical problem' pop up or 'site too busy' pop up but I hope I can as this is very important. I come on here (if I can) and play maybe up to five games before all these problems get me so upset I leave as I can't get my games played. NOW THEY ALL TIMING OUT in ONE MORE DAY. I am not sure it is ALL, I only scrolled down to more than half the page till I decided I better write you and see if ALL my games that time out will be re-instated???? There is no way I can clear my sheet at this pace. I got a membership because I loved the site (still do) and it was so fast and ranted and raved about it all over the net. what about all my games fencer?

the messages in our messages boxes can be their in the inbox a month and once NOT moved into the SAVE box, they can be deleted. Personally I would like to have a box where I can SAFE messages and games in archive. But there are also message which can be deleted. If the players forget, then the system can tackle them at the end of the month :-)

Fencer: besides this, I still got the same error messages. Are you sure the side would be up and running again for 100%?

Not sure if this an valid issue, or if you are actually doing upgrades to the site, but as of late there have been numerous times where I get the "BrainKing is currently being upgraded" page, but a sec later its back up. then about 5 min later I get that page again. just thought I would bring this up, if it is an issue?

I have been viewing the player list and have noticed that people have joined way back when and have never played...SUGGESTION ONLY...put a time limit on how long they have to play their first game..and if they havent played..delete their profiles...makes for more room for you Fencer.(well i think it would)also your histories in your message boards could be deleted...anything older than a month perhaps...just trying to help here :) you still do a great job FENCER

I noticed that, even though it says you will have a provisional rating at 4 games and established at 25, it seems to be 5 and 26. Right now i have 4 rated games of anti checkers completed, and am still unrated. I also remember it took 26 Spider Line4 to get an established rating.

Not sure if you know this so wanted to bring it to your attention. It seems half of my team havent been able to access the site since Thursday. Molly and Eddie cant get in even to the main page. I just heard from another lady that said shes talked to alot of ppl at GT who arent just experienceing the outages we are but cannot access the site at all. Just wanted to let you know
