Ämne: Re: Let it never be said that GWAR has never been featured here
Jim Dandy: I remember Alice Cooper doing that lol! Anyone like musicals? This is my favourite and holds special memories for me. Michael Crawford plays the Phantom. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TxXPDvs4pDY
Ämne: Re: What's a saturday morning without THE CLASH?
TexasToest: Well maybe I clashed with them at one time I remember walking through Manchester years ago and seeing all these kids dressed as punks in Market Street. That was the fist time I ever seen anyone with muliticoloured hair and chains and dressed in leathers. There was a crowd of them alll sat down quitely just enjoying passing the time of day.
Eriisa: I still have mine but I transfered them all onto one cd via mp3. Opps I meant I transfered all my single cds onto mp3 and got rid of them but kept all my 45s.
Ämne: Re: While I'm thinking of it....Re rap and hearing impaired.....
Eriisa: Lmbo! I agree, too many videos posted kill the converstation on this board. I would much rather read about something that meant something to people rather than just ccp and videos. For instance rather than all that mud which I would rather not look at how about a little nostaligia. This was the first record my nanna ever bought me. Enjoy! I know I will! It is Bonny M with Rivers of Babylon. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nm1g8FFRArc
Nirvana: I like to watch them on the tv because at least I can use the subtitles and understand what they are saying lmbo! I only like certain bands though. Most of them just sound like noise to me. I liked Queen with Freddie. That one Jules posted further down too I like. Something that at least sounds and feels like music lmbo!
Jim Dandy: That is great! By pure coincidence I was looking for an uke video to post as I thought it would make a change. I have an uke and an ukelelebanjo and been practising since last Sat on em both lmbo! Thanks for posting that! Edited for my crap spelling lmbo!
Jules: Thanks very much for that website Jules! I was at my mam,s for a few days and she lives near the new stadium in Manchester. George Michael was performing there Last Friday night. Me and my mam had been to the hosp` and got a taxi back. People were looking for places to park their cars to go and see him and the Taxi driver was telling my mam what was going on and said his last passenger had paid £75 to go see him. I think that is outrageous myself. Is it really worth paying that much to go and see him? What does anyone else think?
ScarletRose: Yes she,s great! I like her movements, it is kinda like sign language only different lmbo and she is easy to follow. I remember her appearing on New Faces. Yep she could have been a big star there Jim it is a shame. I have a double album of her,s Texas from way back, my dad said at the time he bought it for me but I think it was for him really lmbo!
Thanks very much TexasToest! Congrats Jim! Coan.net, I donno how to do mp3s from the video I just download mp3s direct. I enjoyed Jim Dandy got married Awesome. And I reconised that song Redfrog but cannot tell what it is called. What is it called?
Whilse playing on iyt I came accross a guy who was an original member of this group in the 70s. Just goes to show you never know who plays here or there!
baddessi: Yes. As a deaf person she is one of the very few I can understand as her voice is so clear. I have been a fan of her,s for over 30 years and seen her her live in concert 4 times and I have met her. Alas she is now in her 70,s and on her world farewell tour. Her daughter,s voice is even better than her,s. Her name is Lena Mouskouri.
