Foxy Lady: Your body doesn't absorb insulin unless your on insulin.

If your body doesn't consume your insuline, you have a serious problem - a severe case of diabetis. Your pancreas produces insuline, and your body uses that to break down glucose. Resistance to insuline (the body doesn't take up as much insuline as it should) can be a cause of type-II diabetis - or it can develop later in type-II diabetis patients.

Eating high fats and alot of sugar can make you over weight. Eating alot of sugar per se does not cause you to become diabetic.

That's what I said.

Foxy Lady: You don't become diabetic from eating too much sugar, the key there is your pancreas and whether your producing insulin.

You're production of insuline can be fine, but if your body isn't absorbing insuline appropriately, you're still suffering from diabetis. Eating too much sugar isn't the sole cause of diabetis. But being overweight can contribute in getting diabetis. And eating too much sugar can cause overweight. So, indirectly, eating too much sugar increases your chances of getting diabetis. And so does eating too much fat and not exercising enough (physical exercise triggers the body to consume glucose from the blood).
