having friday and monday their weekend ... we're living in a free world ... hehehe !
but you still have the choice - weekend days are unveiled on player's profile ... ~*~
If both players have different weekend days set, does that add 4 days a week to the game time limits?
It seems this is the case, as I have a game with a 21 day limit, that has 33 days left. That would be 3 weeks plus 2 days a week for their weekends, and 2 days a week for my weekends, which is 12 extra days, making 33 days correct.
But if this is the case...Does it make any sense for my opponent to have my weekends added to their time limit? It doesnt seem right to me, does anyone have any idea what I am trying to say? :)
I'm playing in a 5 day/move tournament, at present all my opponents have at least 9 days despite the player with the least time having not moved for two days. Does it pass on to the next weekend or something? I never got the point of these weekends and for sure they should be limited to one weekend per move.
is it your game with Basic01? if it is i've looked at that game and don't see any vacation days set... hmmmm... so i don't know why your three day limit has expanded to nine days... sorry i'm not much help ...
if holidays are taken/booked i think they show up at the bottom of the game board before you make a move (it worked this way in bk1 not sure about this version though)
He's a Pawn, so that would explain the extra 5 days. That's probably the reason, then.
I looked, and didn't see anything that says his vacation days are set. I guess that doesn't mean they aren't. I guess I just expected there'd be some sort of notification if an opponent took a holiday.
I have a game of loop chess currently in progress. The time limit is 3 day per move. My opponent *just moved*. Why does the status page say there are 9 days, 23 hours left until timeout?
*blink*
That's a helluva lot more than three days. Even if I lump the weekend hours onto that, that's still only 5 days. Why are there almost 5 extra days?
Bernice: It can be your provider, it can be a network problem somewhere on the way, it can be anything. But BrainKing is performing well, no problem is here.
Well...it has just taken at least 4 minutes to get here again and ive found my problem is.....
I play my more and click "go to next game"
i then have to hit "refresh" otherwise I would be sitting her this time tomorrow LOLOLOL
I am with a good "provider" not a cheap, get everything for nothing, limited crap.
I have asked them what the problem could be abd they say,"they do not have any access problems to anywhere...
Fencer....could it be that my provider isnt compatible with something??? now dont start laughing, scoffing etc....i admit i dont know Jack ship (heheh) about things...but for me it seems to happen too often....Im serious here and would like some answers.....
