<I would like to see additional filter in tournaments listing based on Time Control & BKR & possible to sign up.
Personnally I prefer to play only +5 days games and it would ease game finding if I could define that I wan't to see only games where I have more than five days for move and I am able to sign up.
Currently I need to go into each game just to see that my BKR is too low or I don't have enough brains to join the game.
Also possibility create automatic filter & notifier which notify me when ever there is a new tournamet available corresponding my predefined criteras would be cool.
Example: I could create rule that I would like to receive message from all backgammon games where the move time is more than 5 days and I am able to join the game. BKR is suitable, not full already...
Actually it could be additional functionality in find tournaments. --> Send notify if tournamet matching the criterias is created.
I posted these request already month ago and keep posting monthly based until I receive some comments
I love mastermind also. I could see a few different ways it could be brought to a game site.
1) opponent vs. opponent - that is each person picks the color sequinse for the other player to figure out. If you figure yours out before the other player figures out the one you made for them - you win.
2) System picks a random one for both players to try to figure out - one to do it in less moves wins (can not see what the other player is guessing)
3) The system picks a random one, then each player takes turn trying to solve the same puzzle - so you build off of what your opponent does. That is player 1 playes. Player 2 sees the results, and tries the next guess. and so on.... even though while I type this one, I can see some just stalling forever so they don't give their opponent any help, so this one might now work.
I would also recomend that at least 5 codes are used (I believe the 4 has been solved in like 5 moves) - 6 would be best. (Or have 2 versions - a 6 long, and ultimate 8 long or something)
Fencer: I don't know if you work with an "ad go-between site" (don't know the right term here), but if not, you could focus ads from certain languages or certain markets (countries or states), to certain people with those characteristics. This could focus your ads to the people, and could increase your funds through these ads. However, I doubt this will work! Because I am sure you probably work directly with some one else that does the ads automatically for you! But you could always send an idea like that to them, and intergrate your system with theirs... if that would be possible, you could both make more money... just an idea. Discard if it doesn't work. :-)
gambler104: Just go to their profile (click on their name). If they have set any vacation days, it should display there (most paying members leave it to the autovacation system, though, so you may see nothing)
I think it would be interesting to see something like record versus top 100 or some other number. This might be difficult because of the frequent BKR changes, but it's just an idea.

CRY ME A RIVER: We are having the same problem today with Hyper backgammon 1 Hour Time.I am getting other games trought.Plus i am not getting any reply from no one here.
I have a simple request for a game... Mastermind. or some variation of it... teh game is rather elementary but im sure you could come up with some sorta way to make the game more challenging. such as playing both sides of the puzzle and whoever guesses it correctly in less guesses wins.
I'm sure this has been asked many times so pardon my laziness for not taking the time to search through these messages but is their any chance we can see dots and boxes brought to this site?
Matarilevich: I know it's free because I can see it. My suggestion was to show Total and Average BKR for each player on their profile page, or at least your own
First Five Open Backgammon.
Was filled close to 1 hour ago how come it is not started.
This is a 1 hour game.
WE have had them before and they all started right away.
It'd be nice if we could see Total and Average BKR scores on the profile page that shows all the individual BKR scores.
There are already stats showing the best Totals and averages, so I don't see why not
(or is this one of the things only paying members can see?)

In this moment i have 20 unfinished single tournaments. In my profile, i can see 18 of them when i set the filter as running and the other 2 when i set it as open. My question is: Which is the difference between running and open?
I have a friend (Really, I do!) that is trying to register on BrainKing. His account is "waiting for approval". Is this something Fencer has to do or can the Globs do it?
My suggestion is to have an automated way...register, BK sends a confirmation email, user must respond to that email to finish registration.
How about a backgammon variant using the "old english rule" that not more than five checkers can be on one point at the same time? I used to play it like this ;)
Subjekt: Viewing available teams for match play in fellowships
Zmenené užívateľom Walter Montego (14. apríla 2006, 00:24:01)
I would like to be able to see which fellowships have teams without my being the captain. As it is now, only the captain can see which teams are available to be challenged. I want to be able to view the teams, not challenge them. It's way to cumbersome to go to each fellowship and see who has a team for us to challenge.
the ability to enter notes on a game would be a lot more useful if one's notes appeared above the board on subsequent moves, right above the opponent's comments, if any. as it is, i make notes and often forget i've made them, especially if some hours or days elapse between the time i make the note and my next move. i'll make a note for my next move and then never see the note again, or only see it when the game's over. that's not a very useful note.
