Board for everybody who is interested in BrainKing itself, its structure, features and future.
If you experience connection or speed problems with BrainKing, please visit Host Tracker and check "BrainKing.com" accessibility from various sites around the world. It may answer whether an issue is caused by BrainKing itself or your local network (or ISP provider).
Gr☺uch☺: Thats exactly what i did, posted on one of the chat boards and got a response almost immediately. We both paid half each and when Fencer had received both payme nts he put the black rooks on.
A number of us have already takend advantage of the Black Rook special. What most of us did was to find someone else who was interested in paying for 1/2 of the black rook cost and we partnered up. Since this is the last opportunity for such a thing, those interested should find ways to find those willing to participate with them. I posted on GC and even wrote to people via PM. Good luck!
2) Black Rook Special - due to a good success of the May Action, it is here again with a small improvement. Everybody who purchases the Black Rook membership (which never expires), can either choose another user who will receive the same membership for free, or ask us for a new BrainKing feature (except auto-pass ) which would be implemented with the highest priority. Of course, such a feature request must be reasonable and possible to do.
King Reza, Fencer: Well, I suppose whoever wants to share a Black Rook can always go to the PawnRegistry and ask for a Rook membership explaining that they want explicitly to share a Black membership. If another person is interested in sharing (or paying for it all together) can always go there first looking for black rook candidates. Unless, of course, Rooks can't place an entry in the Pawn Registry (now, that would be a first - a feature not available for Rooks, lol)
Fencer: Ping requests can to used in DoS attacks. That's why some servers choose to ignore them, to spare the bandwidth from all the response traffic and save it to what's more important - the http channel :)
alanback: For some reason, BrainKing never responds to a ping request. Don't ask me why. Liquid has already told me the purpose but I don't remember it. Anyway, http response is much more important.
can someone help me? My notepad page is too big, so I cannot see the whole message, left to right. Everything is fine on discussion boards like this one. Thanks
