By the way, does someone have to be a Brain Rook in order to post a video to his profile?
Rod and I tried for a long time yesterday to post a video to my profile, but it didn't work. He could post it to *his* profile though, so the problem wasn't the video itself.
BK went down for a minute or so for maintenance earlier today. Since then I have noticed a couple of anomalies.
First, I signed up for a tournament that was supposed to start "immediately" once the maximum number of players was reached. That was a while ago.
Second, games that a player has passed the deadline for moving are showing times like -2 hours 32 minutes.
This may be a new feature, I don't know, namely when a player is on a weekend day his time continues in the negative until his weekend is over. I actually like it, but I don't know if it is intentional or not, especially since that tournament hasn't started yet.

Vikings: I tried. Rod and I tried a lot of different things, we had a lot of PM conversations and tried a lot of things. He even emailed me the embed code he got when visiting the youtube video.
All no luck.
P.S. I even used 3 different browsers, changed cookie settings, and a couple of other things I don't recall at the moment.
Still no luck, I see. Maybe it's only Rooks. I forget the benefits of each level. Or does someone know that knights/bishops can have videos in profiles?
happyjuggler0: I'm not positive. I tried your new code myself, and it still doesn't work. I wish I knew how to send you a message with some code that I KNOW works.. However, it "disappears" because the message tries to "use" the code, if that makes sense. I'm not html expert lol
happyjuggler0: Hmm.. I tried your code.. it left me with "/embed". So I thought you had an extra "/embed" in there. So, I took it out. Then I get a big empty space.
happyjuggler0: Actually, I just tried the code you used, and it didn't work on my profile either. Go back to youtube, and be sure to check the box for "Use old embed code". That might work
Artful Dodger: So - I would buy for example 10 rooks now, my membership would show 'valid till 2037' (with the top bonus)? And then I could take the prices from that 'storage' when I make a tourney? Or I could just be a member till 2037...
rod03801: I did that when Fencer offered 10 rooks for 1/2 price and I "banked" them for future tourneys. It wasn't automatic but in a way the storing is on auto. My account was credited and I would just let Fencer know when I wanted to use them. :)
Aganju: I'm not sure if there is an "automated" way to do it. (I doubt it, but could be wrong). However, if you make the purchase, with a note to Fencer about it, I have NO doubt he will make it work for you.
Who has done that before and knows how it works? Can I and how would I buy 'memberships' to use for tournament prices, before I make the tournaments (kind of 'in spare')? I would - for example - like to buy and pay two rook memberships now (of course, _with_ the easter egg bonus) and keep them somewhere 'stored' until I make a tournament maybe next month, and then use them as prices.
Is that possible? Or do I have to make the tournament first, add the price, buy it, and then they are stuck with that tournament?
Aganju: The pre-purchase digital version is available now for when the Diablo 3 servers go live on the 15th of May. The software itself is complete and finished....
....although date wise a year or so later than the fans of the Diablo series expected and were led to believe. Blizzard had been concentrating on WoW, annoyingly delaying the completion of Diablo 3.
(V): It's not yet released! You can _pre-purchase_ it and they show a date where it _could_ be it will be released... Until you have it, it's nextware.
happyjuggler0: I wholeheartedly agree. I looked for it in the help and the FAQ before I posted here, but there's nothing. the help entry for "Friends" is completely blank!
plaintiger: "i hope the fabled (and by now, presumed to be entirely imaginary) BrainKing 2.0" that propaganda last appeared during a blackrook membership drive!! lol
plaintiger: After adding the person to your friends, go to the friends list and there should be a padlock symbol next to the name. Click on it to add/remove public friends (you'll need to wait for permission from them).
...but there are some unintuitive features of Brainking that aren't addressed in the Help nor the FAQ and that i use infrequently enough that by the time i'm ready to use them again, i've forgotten how i did it last time.
this time, it's adding someone to my public friends. how is that done?
i hope the fabled (and by now, presumed to be entirely imaginary) BrainKing 2.0 will make this intuitive; all i can remember about it now is that it isn't.
