Board for everybody who is interested in BrainKing itself, its structure, features and future.
If you experience connection or speed problems with BrainKing, please visit Host Tracker and check "BrainKing.com" accessibility from various sites around the world. It may answer whether an issue is caused by BrainKing itself or your local network (or ISP provider).
When someone is in trouble here it us generally their own doing; for which they will the appropriate consequences as deemed by big bosses, moderators, or the site developers.
I do think that generalizations of the enforcement of the site's guidelines is within topic with regard to the future of this site.
I do not feel that arguements and/or discussions about a person that has been in trouble and is now paying their dues belongs on this board.
Fencer's decision is just that....Fencer's decision.
Mine too. And I'm in the mood to push the hide button.
I believe that Fencer made a place for pictures to incourage paying members on this site. Fencer is the person that says yes or no on the pictures. I doubt he will say no on any pictures unless they are in poor taste or offensive.
I am sure there are reasons that some people prefer not to have their real picture put up, in which case they still have the option to put up a picture of their cat, or favorite cartoon, or whatever. That is their option, as long as it meets with Fencer's approval.

I don't think you're a bad guy. I've sent a PM to your mailbox explaining the reasons that I felt that I needed to delete your post earlier today.
You or anyone else are always welcome to PM me, if you don't understand my feelings or why I might do something. I don't always expect that you will agree with me or what I do, and that's ok. I am willing to listen and try to be fair to everyone.
This is a public board on a family site; and we all need to try and remember that.
Again, sorry for the deleted post and I apologize if you feel it made you look like a "bad guy". That was not my intent.
I think that's true partly. But the CSR's are also there to help everyone. No matter what country they are in. They are there so people can ask questions. I'm sure there are probably countries that it is hard for people to use Paypal or some other means that is currently in place for them to become a member here, but I think it would probably be impossible for Fencer to have a representative in every country.
I know I've asked questions to three CSR's at different times. One of them was not in my country. That person still was helpful.
I just think that if for some reason one or more of the CSR's put me on their ignore list, it must be for a reason. Either I was rude, or said off color things, or whatever. If that happened would I really want to go to that person for help anyway? I don't think so!
It's just my opinion, and I'm sure there are at least a hundred different opinions out there as to whether the CSR's should be allowed to have an enemy list. I feel like they should be allowed to just like any other paying member here. If ever a time should come that they become and "employee" of Brainking, then my opinion might change.
I'm really not sure. I don't believe there are any in Greenland. Couldn't any questions that someone might have be answered by most any representative, no matter what country they are in? I think most questions or problems can be worked out in a way that will benefit everyone if it is done in an adult manner.
I just don't think that CSR's should be penalized for being CSR's. It's not like they are getting paid or getting benefits for what they are doing. If they were, I would say that might be different....but they're not.
That is precisely the reason that there is more than one CSR. I'm sure there isn't any one person here that is on all of the CSR's enemy's list.
These people are volunteers and don't get anything for what they are doing for this site. Obviously no one gets along, or likes everyone. I don't understand why these people shouldn't be allowed to have an enemy's list like everyone else. Why should they be left open for abuse when they are only volunteering to help here.
I'm ok. The power is starting to go off around here. The winds and the rain is picking up. It's been a very long day, and probably another 20 or 24 hours before I'm out of it.
Awwwww, what a nice gesture. You just don't know how much it's appreciated! I think I'll be ok. I've got a lot of days left. I'm not sure about anyone else here.
The way it's looking now, Backoff and the east coast is probably going to be the one this time in the direct line of the storm. It's looking like all of Florida will be getting a part of this one in the next few days. Only time will tell where it comes in and how bad it will be. Maybe we'll get lucky and it will die out! :o)
Hey Backoff! You missed out on Charley, and you can keep Frances!
They just announced on the news that evacuations are starting here again tomorrow morning.
Unfortunately, many of the shelters in this area that were used for Charley have been destroyed or are unsafe here. If we get the winds that they are predicting for this area from this storm, we are going to have some major problems. Everyone here is struggling, and just trying to get through day by day as it is.
I've have not personally heard from her, but have heard that there is some damage to her home, I don't know how much. But they are ok, and that is what is important.
It is very difficult for everyone here now all over the state. Most of us have found or over the last couple of days that we have friends and/or family homeless. Almost everyone here is without electricity. It is difficult for people to get to the places where they are handing out drinking water, ice for coolers and food. Gasoline lines are long for those that are lucky enough to have vehicles in workable condition, when you happen to run across a station that does have electricity and has not been blown away.
Lots and lots of help has been sent into this area, and I assume others. The Red Cross, the National Guard, electric crews from all over have come to help, but it is going to take lots of time.
It is extremely emotionally draining on everyone here, but we will all do what we have to in order to get through it ourselves and to help others in our community that haven't been as luck as a few of us are.
She told me she was going to set a few days up for vacation before the storm hit, just in case. It looks like she did, but there is no telling when her power will be back on.
We'll just have to wait and see. I mostly just wanted everyone to understand that any games she times out in, isn't her fault.
This appears to be working with web-tv. When I log out and use the F-key I set for Brainking, it takes me to the guest log in page. My name as well as my password (hidden behind stars) appears in the boxes and all I have to do to log in is press the log in button.
It would appear that the computer users are having the problem this time! :o)
Scarlet and Steve. This is a difficult call, and I am trying to be fair to all parties.
I do believe that hacking or using someone elses ID should not be taken lightly. And if it is being done that it should be delt with properly. I feel that this is a very serious accusation.
From what I am reading in your post SR is that you believe this is happening to members here and want it to be exposed. I totally agree with exposing that there may be a big problem, but I'm not sure that I agree with accusing people of things like this on public boards.
I am the first to say that I don't know any more than what I have read here. I also don't know the parties involved all that well. It could be true, it could be false; but in any case I don't feel that the names should have been posted, so I am editing. Sorry.
(sakla) If you want to play a game with an opponent of a similar level, you can define a required BKR range for a new game invitation. Then nobody with a BKR outside this range will be able to see/accept it. (Katechka) (Bütün ipuçlarını göster)
