Board for everybody who is interested in BrainKing itself, its structure, features and future.
If you experience connection or speed problems with BrainKing, please visit Host Tracker and check "BrainKing.com" accessibility from various sites around the world. It may answer whether an issue is caused by BrainKing itself or your local network (or ISP provider).
MadMonkey: You have been given many advices by several persons on this board. Since it's been proven that nothing is wrong on BrainKing side, the rest is up to you.
pauloaguia: That's a good point. I know that some people make doubleclicks instead of normal clicks and, of course, the server takes them as two consequent requests.
Czuch Czuckers: 1) Pauloaugia is probably right. 2) The mere fact that you are shouting and panicking is not a reason to revert the game moves. It occasionally happens that people see strange or bizarre things, e.g. frogs instead of dice, boards upside down etc. None of these events has been proven as BrainKing's fault. 3) From the site code's point of view, there is no logical situation which would cause what you describe. I've tested this game many times on many different browsers and it never happened to me. Anyway, although it is pointless, I've added one more (and quite redundant) check to the dice roll method, just to ensure that it works correctly (and it does). That's all what I can say to this subject.
pauloaguia: Of course, if you make no action for 30 minutes, the session expires and when it's automatically recreated after your next click, the session-only data are lost. Since the "play later" data are not persistent (it would make no sense to store them to the database due to their short lifecycle), they are not recreated.
emmett: What if two friends start a no limit game and they agree that one of them leaves the site for 2 years and when he is back, they finish the game?
Andersp: Of course, I have already started to work on it. It doesn't mean it would be finished immediately, there are many other things which must be done as well.
joshi tm: As I have said many times, I am not at home yet, so there will be no changes until I come back. When you have looked at your profile, you have surely noticed that public holidays are still valid, so you have 45 days in fact and there is no point to shout at me.
All right, since we already have 2007 here, the action is over and I would like to thank everyone who supported us by taking advantage of it. Back to my champagne.
(sakla) Do you keep losing on timeouts? Paying members can activate Automatic Vacation to automatically set vacation days when they would timeout. (pauloaguia) (Bütün ipuçlarını göster)
