2008 Election Fraud.

Huge scandal against the DNC. It's gonna get bigger. Some blacks were told that if they weren't voting for Obama, they needn't vote. hmmmmm. They were told to leave the voting site. This story will only grow and get worse.

Who are the complainants? Democrats against democrats. And they have tons of evidence.

Bashing Palin and Fox with cute little sound bites and weak-kneed sarcasm isn't a rational argument. It's typical of the left because they can't form a logical argument, but they are very good at calling names.

I asked you liberals some GOOD questions which you choose to ignore. Instead, you mock Palin (who cares about Palin anymore...not me!) and make fun of Fox (which is totally ignorant. Fox is the leader in cable news AND all the other cable news outlets are struggling (not Fox). NETWORK news is in the basement and will likely be gone in a few years. No one really watches them if they want REAL news. Independent studies have confirmed this fact.

You people read stuff on the Huffington post and consider your source unbiased. You think MSNBC is reliable. And yet NONE of those outfits covered the story in any depth of voter intimidation by the Black Panthers. ONLY FOX covered it fully and is still following it. But you don't care about real justice. It's ok because the Panthers are black. If they were white, and if Bush were the president, you'd all be spitting mad.

You have NO credibility.

Tuesday: Sarah Palin report card/Sarah Palin’s high-school grades have apparently leaked onto the internet. The document claims to be Sarah Palin’s tenth grade report card and shows that the VP mostly had “B’s” and “C’s,” a “D” in foreign languages.

And the report card reads as follows:
English – B
Math – C
Foreign Language – D
Biological Sciences – B
Physical Sciences – C
Social Studies – C

You don't even read your own links…

Konu: Obama promised transparency....but...
Obama must have had very average grades in high school, since he only ended up at the moderately competitive Occidental College. With affirmative action, even an average set of grades would have gotten him into a more competitive undergraduate institution. This is no surprise since he admits to cutting class and doing drugs for most of his time in high school. It's also hard to gauge his academic turnaround since no one at Columbia University seems to have known him and both Obama and Columbia refuse to release his transcripts, compared with say, George Bush, whose undergraduate transcript you can see here. http://www.americanpolitics.com/bushtranscript.html.

Konu: This is how some on the left operate.
Not only does Todd Gaziano (Congressional appointee on the United States Commission on Civil Rights) claim that the 2008 Election Day voter intimidation charge against the Philadelphia New Black Panther Party was ‘open and shut’, but that US Assistant Attorney General Deputy Julie Fernandez ordered, 'Never bring another lawsuit against a black or other national minority, apparently no matter what they do.'

Will you on the left condemn this or will you, like many liberals, make excuses or point fingers?

And the currently state of the US IS the fault of progressives and the sooner we rid this country of their lot the better. They shall be defeated. They are evil.

A true conservative is simply one that adheres to the core principles of conservatism. It's not a mystery. People have the right to hold to a position and vote in those that best represent their views. Nothing mysterious about that. Each and every one of you do this very thing. So why are you mocking others for simply doing the very same thing you all do everyday? Makes no sense.

so.. no such thing as perfect.. Glenn Beck is not perfect!! Conservatives cannot be perfect.

Kinda messes up the idol of a true conservative person or that of a true liberal person.

Everyone here has the right to protest or have an opinion regards new onshore drilling, and seeing as we've just found new deposits off our south coast.. there will be new drilling.

Konu: Re:
Ferris Bueller: He lost with a whopping 71%-29% margin. That's a serious defeat. Don't over simplify his defeat. Palin and Beck are NOT that strong. It's a lame excuse to blame them. Inglis deviated from conservative principles and many conservatives and independents are sick of it. It should serve as a warning to those in the Republican party and a reminder of whose interests they are to represent. Interesting that he immediately ran to the liberal press who eagerly took on his complain.

In the past, Inglis carried a good record with conservatives. But they began to question his conservative leanings and many began to see him as a liberal in a conservative coat. Apparently Inglis didn't understand that you don't insult your base if you want to be reelected. That's how politics work.

How come I never read you liberals complain about the Democratic dirty politics in Illinois? Yeah, that's what I thought.

Is it NOT ironic that you liberals here are all over yourselves defending a Republican? That is too funny.

Inglis isn't the only incumbent that needs to watch out. As many of you liberals have pointed out, many Republican leaders have simply sold out their party. Inglis was one of them. Those in the congress don't get to decide the will of the people. Inglis never learned this important truth. The people decide their own will. At least the conservative thinkers do. Most Democrats let their leaders do their thinking.

Obama is getting to be more unpopular than Bush. How can you explain that? And what's this with so many liberals talking about "buyers remorse" when it comes to Obama?

Conservatism is on the rise and there will be many casualties. Most will be liberals. But some lazy conservatives will find they are out of jobs soon.

(V): Well no, what she was saying is the "extreme environmentalists" being against on shore and shallow water drilling, has pushed the oil companies to need to go to DEEP water drilling, and she is saying that the deep water drilling is much more risky, and more prone to an accident like this, and more prone to not be able to stop a disaster like this.

I'm not fan of hers at all (I will NEVER vote for her), but I would say she may have a little bit of a point.

Konu: Re:You need about 400 square miles of wind turbines to equal 1 nuclear power plant.
Pedro Martínez: I'm not disputing Nuclear power works. Out of nuclear or fossil fuel, I'd rather nuclear be used. It's not perfect (waste) but I've been in one and seeing the safety and tech used to counter the problems as well as knowledge on how to deal with radiation... It's a good energy source.

Microgeneration is a good system which through wind and solar tech can take our reliance of big power plants. If we can at home produce 40-60% of our energy needs then we reduce the need for expensive and possibly contaminating waste.

We have at the moment wind, solar and wave power as standards in renewable energy. Some countries can access steam.. thinking about I'm surprised Yellowstone has not been tapped. The tech is improving.

(V): My post was a response to your statement that “It makes you wonder how much our reliance on big power plants could be reduced if they [electricity generating windmills] became a standard.”

As for my figures… my source is Wikipedia:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuclear_power
(“A typical 1000-MWe nuclear reactor produces…”)
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_turbine
(referring to this table indicating the outputs of different wind turbines)
and
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wind_power
(see the part on capacity factor)

As regards the article on the Buena Vista wind farm… yes, there are larger and more efficient wind turbines, as well as there are larger and more efficient nuclear power plants. I was comparing the average figures.

Buena Vista Wind Farm Repowering, California, USA

"A $40m repowering of the Buena Vista wind farm uses 38 1MW MHI turbines to replace older, smaller models. The larger 1MW turbines have allowed a reduction in the site footprint from 1,000ha (2,400 acres) to 160ha (400 acres) for the same power. The Buena Vista Energy LLC Wind Project is owned by Babcock & Brown Group (B&B) and General Electric, and is part of the Altamont Pass Wind Resource Area.

Babcock & Brown Group was contracted at the end of 2005, when construction began. MHI supplied the wind turbines, which came on line in December 2006."

Konu: Re:You need about 400 square miles of wind turbines to equal 1 nuclear power plant.
Pedro Martínez: I was talking about microgeneration not windmill farms. But as for your figures.. I read 60 acres produces 1 MW...

But at the same time, 95% of the land involved is still free for other uses such as farming. They take less time (especially re microgeneration) to install as well as a great deal less money to build.

Can you confirm the date of your figures?

Konu: Re:You need about 400 square miles of wind turbines to equal 1 nuclear power plant.
(V):

Output of a typical nuclear power plant: 1,000 MW per hour.
Output of an average wind turbine: 600 kW per hour.

A typical wind farm of 70 turbines and 1,500 acres produces 25 MW per hour. So you would need 60,000 acres of wind turbines to equal 1,000 MW. At the capacity factor of 25%, you will need four times as large area, i.e. 240,000 acres = 375 square miles.

Pedro Martínez: I just googled to check that.. ... I found that claim is linked to a 1977 New scientist article by an MP on anti nuclear nonsense.

... Tech has changed in 33 years.
