The Badger: you have 2 choices.. get out of the tournament, and join another (and risk that happenening again) or pay for a membership, then you can join as many tournaments as you want without worrying about slow movers! (and you can see the cute smilies)
As a pawn, I can only be in one tourney at a time. One player is using autovacation and is making maybe one or two moves each day in total. They have 350 odd outstanding games! They haven't moved against me since 20th Feb!
It's so annoying!!
Niki: Bummer. I resigned a dozen games which puts a dozen games in my loss column and now there's little chance that anyone will be able to squeeze me in before the tournament starts.
Niki, OptimistMB: Before BK2 fencer release me from tournament, the last time he suggested to upgrade my membership :) may be OptimistMB will have better luck :)))
OptimistMB: The tournament where you resigned all your games is still running, and as a 'pawn' you can only be in one tourny at a time. So even though you have no games to play, the tourny is still going. You can get out of this by pm'ing fencer (go to his profile and 'send message') and asking him nicely if he could release you from the tournament where you can go no further, in order for you to be able to enter a new one :-)
Why can't I join the prize tournement? I resigned all my other games including the tournement I was in but it won't let me join. Is this a bug or are their things I don't know about?
Kamel: when you go to the name of a player you see an envelop next to it .. click on it and it will send you to a screen in which you can send a message to the player only .. a pm (private message)
or go to someones profile and click on 'send message'
I have created a tournamet for the first ever Hypergammom PRIZE tournament for a 6 Month rook membership.Last call to join,it will start Wendsday.
There are presently 114 to join.
Anothr thing is the fact i notice people like tou raise the ladder with ther BKR rating,so al BKR"S will be affected.Good luck to all,and thanks for thoose have joined to date!
If you are out of a tourney aka you are done with all of your games and there is no way that you can win, do you really have to wait for everyone else to finish their games before you can join another tourney when you are a pawn? I am just wondering because I understand the tourney concept to be that the tourney is finished for a particular person when they are no longer playing any games in that tournament and have no possibility to win the particular level of the tourney they are on.
Bry: What prize was offered for the pond game? None was listed.
UE has always made good on all his prize tournaments which advertised a prize, heck I even won one which I then turned around and made a prize tournament out of. So everyone should feel safe to sign up for UE's tournament.
I have created a prize tournament for a 6 month rook for Hypergammon, all welcome BKR'S will be affected, let try and make this a big one for the first prize Hypergammon tournament.
Starts March 16th Goodluck to all!
Your friend Mike...:o)
Jason: Yea, like harley said - tournament created by me - All (finished, running, etc...)
Then what I did was highlight my complete list and paste it into an excel spreadsheet. (Plus also copy-pasted fellowship tournaments into the spreadsheet.) Then I could easly look at how many lines there were to easly see how many tournaments I had created.
whats the easiest way of working out how many i have created ? . i can see the list of all tournaments i have been in but cant just find a way of showing only ones created by me .
Did you know that I have created over 2,000 tournaments on this game site? (Probable more then double anyone else - even though that is just a guess). Well now you do!
Anyway, to celebrate, I have created a special #2,000 tournament! (It is actually #2,011 - but lets not be picky)
I have had numerous "POND" prizes, that I have paid for myself...for example T-shirts, (and when people didnt want T-shirts, I supplied, a Table Runner and fancy Note paper etc, which Texas Toest won) I ran an Easter Hamper pond....I gave a consolation prise to the person that was knocked out first...namely Arctic Warrior...he has since received his prize. I have posted to Fencer a lovely embroidered T-shirt for Sinay. I have sent a Blue(requested color)T-shirt to Mike UK for his win....UMMMMMMM i could go on....OH Maxxine won the easter hamper...that has been sent.
I have honoured all my promises of a prize...Im just waiting for confirmation of receipt of prizes.
Any prize offered by myself has been honoured at great cost and UE...i also saw your "PRIZE" for ponds but knowing your past decided not to come into it.
I was the first to offer prizes in ponds and it hasnt at this stage been vetoed by Fencer.
Bry....hehehehe....now im confused LOLOL on your description so what chance UE????
Universal Eyes: OK. You clearly cannot grasp what we are saying.
Here's a solution you may be able to understand.
Cancel the Hyper Backgammon Prize Pond you have created, and apologise to anyone who has signed up.
Change the Pond description (Again) back to a Prize Pond and tell Fencer that the Membership/Prize you were offering for the Hyper BG tournament is in fact to be used for the Pond game you originally advertised as a Prize Pond.
(sakla) If you want to play a game with an opponent of a similar level, you can define a required BKR range for a new game invitation. Then nobody with a BKR outside this range will be able to see/accept it. (Katechka) (Bütün ipuçlarını göster)
