I'm playing in the Pente.net's Stone-Slingin' Showdown tournament. I'm going thru to the 2nd round, UNLESS I've made a huge mistake.
I finished round 1 early and started a bunch to games, unfortunately they are not single games, but rather 3 0r 5 game matches. These are going to take much longer to finish that I expected.
I have only 3 empty slots. Am I going to be blocked from playing in the second round because I don't have enough empty slots?
JamesHird: James - thanks for that, but sorry, I have deleted the post as it contains personal attacks against users and should not be posted on the boards. Whilst you did not create the tournaments we shouldnt be advertising them. In fact, they probably need deleting from the database.
Again, you may see 1 or 2 players who now have a higher rating then 1500 in the tournament. Before the tournament starts, I will remove any player who is WAY over the 1500 BKR limit that way it is fair to all the others who have signed up.
MASTERMIND: I think I've got it now. You're saying that people create multi-nics to enter prize tournies so UE is going to sort them out before the tournies begin?
Universal Eyes: I didn't successfully parse your sentences, but it seems like you are complaining that more people will sign up for a tournament if it has a prize? Maybe I just need more punctuation, but that sounds naive.

Universal Eyes: Im not offended by your "greed" analogy...but if that is the way you feel stop talking about what you have done and DON'T offer any more prizes.
That would save people from having to decipher your bletherings, and/or feeling offended.

Hello i have created in my fellowships a tournament for every game that Brainking has to offer, with over 200 members and close to it in the others i would figure the numbers would by pilling up,not so, but when i put a prize tournament up it's jumped all over, on that word which i have put up several prize tournaments in the double digits it just shows there is greed involved of some of the fellowship members mainly backgammon players, therefore i will be researching for the next Backgammon prize tournament for the removal of greed.I'm sorry to anyone that is offended by this but it's my opinion and forsite of the benifits of making Brainking even more so the best gamesite on the internet.

Universal Eyes: and if you wait some time, my guess is about 10-15 years, you might even avoid strangling with laughter at the result. currently, translators are only good as a joke
If tournament is only for one Membership level and player which is already subscribed change the level, will that play able to play in that tournament or will be removed before start?

I completely agree,a team tournament for Hypergammon would be great for the site.I think it should be a 3 wins match for each individual player team game, due to the fact that it's a pretty fast paced game to complete.
Logistics Man: If it's a tournament then, being a pawn, you can't join another until that tournament is over. Being froglets it could take a while. I hope you're a young man. It's recommended that no-one over 30 starts a tournament involving froglets or anti-backgammon.
If you do want to join another tourney then resign your froglet games and ask Fencer (nicely) to remove you from that tourney.
Logistics Man: If you resign (or play quickly) and all your games in that tourney are over. You can PM Fencer and he will make it so you can enter a new tournament (at least he's done that in the past). Also, if you resign before the second move, the games may not count in your BRK (although I'm not 100% sure about that).
lol, sorry logistics, i found it mildy amusing. i can understand your shock though, read up on teh rules.. and try your best you never know you might find that you actually like the game. Resigning would be a little silly unless you realy dislike the game.
Logistics Man: my advice is to just play the games because even if you resign you cant sign up for another tourney til that one ends so just try to make the most of it
I've just signed up to my first tournament. Being somewhat slow on the uptake, I assumed that I had signed up for Chess....imagine my surprise when confronted with 12 boards, complete with different coloured frogs!! I've no idea what to do!!!!! Should I bulk resign? Your comments and suggestions are welcomed.....but please don't be too hard on me!!!
