RE: "Team matches at the fellowship main pages. Since the growing number of team matches among fellowships makes the match lists not too well arranged, the tables of running and finished matches can be sorted by any column as well. Furthermore, the table of finished matches highlights the ones which were won by the selected fellowship." (Taken from Fencer's blog...)
All fellowships that have a Recycle Chess team: I am captain of the Recycle Chess team. There is no other team to challenge!
I am surprised, but then again, I am sure that if you are part of a fellowship that you can pass the word on and get some Recycle Chess team together, and challenge "Le" Club right away.
I wouldn't want to assume that we are the undisputed champions of Recycle Chess. Let's play!
rednaz23: I don't know an answer to you query about the BKR team ratings, but I support your question and I hope that a solution is posted here so that I can see the outcome. I agree that there seems to be a problem.
I suggest that 30 days after a Big Boss' paid membership expires, if it is not renewed and the Big Boss becomes a pawn, then the role of Big Boss should automatically go to the first active manager on the list of members.
This would help keep the fellowship active.
If the manager does not want the Big Boss role, he or she would be able to pass it on to someone who wants it, or keep the fellowship active until the former Big Boss returns as a paying member, or, if no one wants the Big Boss position, arrange to have the fellowship hidden until the former Big Boss decides to come back.
This will help limit the stagnant fellowships cluttering up the fellowship pages.
I have a question about fellowships that are no longer active, like Noodleland.
CrazyJudd is the Big Boss of Noodleland. He has not logged in since May 19th, 2006, almost a year ago.
Fencer won't change that way the six pages of fellowships are organized, so inactive Noodleland gets a prominent first page placement, fifth or sixth down the fellowships list.
Can someone take over a fellowship like Noodleland and change its name, just to keep a good spot on the list and have a lot of ready members? I think its worth doing.
Is it feasible for us to find way to make Fellowship team matches more interesting? Part of the reason why I am drawn to fellowships is that most fellowships have teams for various games. I would like to see a rankings list for top teams in each game. Then, to make this competitive, to have each Team Captain able to challenge another Team Captain to a fellowship team match.
(sakla) If you click on a person's name and then click Finished games you will have a list of games that have been completed, then click on the name of the game to get a summary of all of these games, then click on the name of the game again and you will have a game to view and analyze.
