Daniel Snyder: If there was a pawn fellowship where there pawns could participate in several tournaments, that would take away one of the big of advantages of being a paying member.
Being that backgammon is so popular, how about Blind Backgammon. Both start out in the usual spots, both sets of dice can be seen, but the oppositions moves can not be seen. It would a guessing game not knowing where the other persons open pips might be.
There are fellowships on this site where politics can be discussed without having them on General Chat. I, for one, would object to having a Politics on a public board.
Fencer: WooHoo! I go to work and come back to find envelopes and dots. Thanks!
I was thinking was that if there were dots by the moderators names that were on the site at the time that it would be easier for people to know that they were the people that needed to be contacted first about any problems with that board. The envelopes certainly will help to speed up the process.
It also makes it easier for the Globals to see if there, in fact, is a moderator of a particular board on site, so situations could possibly be handled a little faster than trying to figure out if any of them were around.
Now, about that microwave three rings on the microwave.....
It would be nice to have a dot or something directly on the public boards when the moderator/co-mods are here also. It certainly would save some time when problems arise.
I think being mad, or drinking are just excuses for bad behavior. Where is the line drawn. One time, three times, twenty five times?
I agree that people slip up and say a word that may be offensive to someone in another country. That is going to happen. Most of us in the English speaking world know what those words are and could avoid them on the public boards.
It's not the occassional person that uses a bad word that bothers me. It's the few on here that use them over, and over, and over.
The public boards just isn't the place!
There is NO excuse for the use of bad words or personal attacks on the public boards. It does nothing but show the immaturity of the people doing it. Sure, we all get mad and aggrivated. I'm just saying...do it elsewhere!
There are private boards. Public ones are not the place. My opinion is that some of you either grow up and act like adults, or be banned completely and permanently from posting on the public boards. All this bickering and name calling on public boards is NOT beneficial for this site.
What I think would be nice to see would be in the message box area.
It would be easier for me, if it were set up more like regular e-mail. After you read a message (and/or deleted the message), you could/would be immediately directed to the next message; rather than having to go back to the message page and click to get the next one.
Just a thought. I know it would save some of us enough time so we could beat Bumble another game or two.
(sakla) If you want to save on bandwidth you can reduce the amount of information that shows up in your pages in the Settings. Try changing the number of games in the main page and the number of messages per page. (pauloaguia) (Bütün ipuçlarını göster)
