Eriisa: Excuse Ali for his answers. he's not yet familiar with the 'American' culture. Or maybe he misunderstand things, comparing them with how they are in farsi, our native language. I appologize.
harley: Oh and as for the game for teh PC upstairs, you can take your harddisk out, take it upstairs, connect it to the MB of teh other PC, copy the file from that Harddisk to that of your kid's PC and take the harddisk back to its original place.
Ali mentioned a good solution too. With WniRar you can split a big file into smaller zipped files, then you can copy them all onto a disk, or several disks, and copy them to your second pc, and when you want to unzip the files, the program will automatically ask for the second part of the splitted file after unzipping the first, then the third, so on.
Czuch Chuckers: The sites providing you with that much music are usually pay-sites. Th eprice is cheap, say $20 for a year, but you'll have to trust them then use your credit card.
About you player, first download the music to say c:\ or anywhere else on your hard disk. Then use the USB cable to connect the player to your PC. When you do that, your windows should be able to recognize the player and show you teh message: New harware found. Or something like that, near the windows clock.
Then if you go to your 'my computer' icon you'll see an icon added to the group of icons there, that is fo ryour player. For example, you'll see C, D, E, and F as your drives, then your CD-rom drive and then another icon which is for the player.
Just copy the file you downloaded, by right clicking on it and then selecting copy, go to that new icon for your player, double click on it to open it, and then when you're in it, right click on the page, and select paste.
RAHVIN666: I am no computer engineer but once I had the same problem and it was a virus or a worm, I don't remember. I had my pc scanned with Norton, quite up to date at that time, and it found it. I think also some adwares and pieces of junk that are automatically installed on pc's can do that too.
The method of "exit(int)" from "System" class is used to close the program .
In the program that i wrote there's a window that opens with "Frame" class, in this window there's a button by pushing which another window is supposed to open.
Now I have trouble making my program close the second window without closing the first one. I tried to use exit(int) but it closes the whole thing. Does anyone have any idea how I should do it?
I'd appreciate it if the solution you give is in 'system' class.
bumble: haha! in Iran, there's no copy-right law or at least I haven't heard of any. Or maybe there are some laws but are not taken that much seriously. I have had the CD copied for me. In every shop related to softwares you can have that. Almost all CDs that are worth a lot in other countries are copied here with very cheep prices. And of course, we don't care about the LICENSE!
I like it this way since I can have everything cheeply but as for the companies, I admit that it really is anoying.
my videocard is an FX 5200 and my monitor is an LG flatron plus super!
It's not a bad one. And what's more, you cannot set the refresh rate to higher than what your monitor can support. The screen will show you you have done the wrong thing. It won't be as good as it is supposed to be and you'll soon realize that.
What I just want to mention while I know many of you are aware of it is the refresh rate of your monitor. It should be set to fit the resolution. Right now I'm using 1024*768 with arefresh rate of 85 Hertz. It really makes a difference if I change 85 Hz to 75 Hz or other rates. the picture quality changes a lot.
