It was a far, far, better thing when I read that. There again, it was the best of times. Or was it the worst of times?

My fav Dickens is 'A Christmas Carol', followed by the 'Pickwick Papers' and 'Oliver Twist'.

Generally I prefer a book over a film anytime.

I didn't realise it was in the dictionary, but it's certainly a word I'm lucky enough to be able to say that I've used a lot to describe books that I've read.
It's quite a common 'word' - in the UK anyway.
