Yeah it is coming out today! We have reserved a copy at the vid store today to buy. Today only they are selling it with the trilogy box for all 3 movies for only 20 bucks! You know what we are watching tonite!

They all do in the public eye though! you cant tell by Bruse WIllis'interviews that he's not always so friendly..

I remember going to the theatre when the first Star Wars was out. I was 12 years old and we talked about it in school for days! The biggest thing was to see how many times you could go. Back then there was no home videos yet so if you wanted to see it again you had to pay again at the theatre. We saw it that summer 7 times!

The very first Star Wars came out in 1976 then there were two more each a few years after each other

Rhiannon, When Star Wars first came out it was advanced technolgy never before seen in movies and a story line not touched upon very much. The fantasy of the other galaxies is what captivated people I think.

Hubby loved Dog soldiers. I went to bed half way thru it before the real gruesome stuff started. Gotta say for a low budget it was sure done well!

Was going to see Last Samurai tomorrow but it has left the theatres so now it is Master and Commander on the docket for tomorrows flick!

Lotta good movies out lately. Going to see Cruise in "Last Samurai" this weekend and hopefully "Master and Commander"

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. MS you have stated you do not think any good movies have been made recently. A lot of other people beg to differ. You obviously feel you are in a different league then the rest of us who are here to discuss movies and to give reviews on them. The purpose of this board is not to figure out if others feel todays movies are crap as you do.

Linda I too enjoyed Green mile. I think it is with in the past 5 years also.

It IS very difficult to try to keep an upbeat board going with such negativity. My opinion is that some poetry sucks. You sure wont see me voice that on the poetry board because I respect that other people enjoy poetry and wouldnt think to tell all on that board their poetry sucks. The purpose of this board is to discuss movies, give reviews on NEW and OLD. Hulk was eh, was told to wait till it hit DVD and glad I did, cuz even the rental was too much as far as I was concerned.. Had a great concept but the movie was just well.. flat.

Spiderman one was good.. I was meaning the new one Spiderman 2 coming this summer

Harry Potter was ok.. 3rd is posta be pretty good
I cant wait to see if Spiderman II is going to live up to its expectations.

the was Golem.. he was a hobbit long ago.. but he had the ring for hundreds of years an it turned him in to that tiny shrivelly man thing.(because of the rings destructive power). he was telling Frodo and Samwise he would take them to Mordor, the fire pit to help them get rid of the ring so it would no longer cause power lust and greed to man. ( in a nutshell)

Just got in from seeing Afflecks new flick "Paycheck" It was better then I expected it to be!

Lamby I saw it just before Xmas. WOW what an awesome movie. I would say it is better then the first two, maybe. But certainly a great movie!
