Anyone with bug problems should try a product called Neem. I mentioned it before. Works loads better then soap and garlic. All natural from the Asian Neem plant. It isnt harmful to birds or cats so you can spray all over and just get rid of pests with out hurting the wildlife. Mixed with warm water, you just spray all leaves a few times a week an your pest problems are gone for the season.. amazing stuff.

maybe we need to"plant" a gardening fellowship, others "rose" here.it could be a "branch" office.we could "leaf" it up to fencer to "plot" one.

wow...and the article skip referenced also says this:

Known for centuries as Lucky Bamboo, the plant is not a bamboo at all (botanical name: Dracaena) but a resilient member of the lily family that grows in the dark, tropical rainforests of Southeast Asia and Africa.

fascinating.

spicieangel: Did some research and found this:- Along with its ease of growth, Lucky Bamboo has long been associated with the Eastern practice of Feng Shui - Lucky Bamboo is believed to be an ideal example of the thriving wood and water element, with the addition of a red ribbon sometimes tied around the stalks - which is believed to "fire" the positive flow of energy. The number of stalks also has meaning : three stalks for happiness; five stalks for wealth; six stalks for health. Four stalks, however, are always avoided.
Hope this helps.

Edited to shorten post.
