SL-Mark: I already acknowledged the potential flaw in the established rating of those who avoid playing strong opponents. The term provisional already indicates a lack of accuracy. As such, a provisional rating can easily be igonored by potential opponents in favor of looking at the previous opponents in completed games or the games themselves to determine the players strength.
SL-Mark: I think it takes 20 rated games to get an established rating with no parenthesis. Prior to that, the rating is in parenthesis. It isn't flawed, it simply isn't yet established. There could be a flaw due to timed out games or avoiding games against strong players.
Nothingness: I play mostly at IYT because the graphics of the game are far superior to those here. If the pieces were redone here, I would be more eager to play here. Particularly, give each piece a color (perhaps light orange and light blue--not black and white) background to denote the player it belongs to, and replace the chevrons with symbols that denote its value (rather, get rid of the chevrons--they just clutter the image). If you agree, I would be thrilled to see such changes here.
I didn't see any other English speaking fellowships dedicated to Espionage. With my current membership level, I can't join the fellowship or even read the Espionage Freaks discussion board messages.
Chaos: I have found the tournament information here a bit confusing. Do I join the league or simply enter the tournament? Where do I find the Espionage tournament, how do I enter and when?
What are the membership requirements for league play? Is that the same as a tournament or is league play a team approach? BTW I play at IYT as The Prince Of Darkness Thanks, Jared
(sakla) If you want to play a game with an opponent of a similar level, you can define a required BKR range for a new game invitation. Then nobody with a BKR outside this range will be able to see/accept it. (Katechka) (Bütün ipuçlarını göster)
