Theed??? is this really the done thing...advertising another site on here....it has nothing much there,...when did it open....today? when I was there it had had 18 visitors :( and not very clear what to do, but then I am a bit dense

Bernice if you are dense you're not alone.I see absolutly nothing about a chess contest on this site.It looks like to me that someone is trying to get hits on a crummy web page that he set up.
Hey I guess it worked I fell for it.I was the 26th visitor so far.
