"he DOESN'T follow with the kooks that call Obama a Commie"
Who cares? The ones taking govm support are commies are the capitalists who benefit from their soundness. While one might not deserve his socialisation *today*, he still needs it for his chance tomorrow. If the capitalist comes along and tells: "eat credit now", it will be the commies prevail over capitalism. It's just a matter of deduction..
Artful Dodger: Oh, btw. I'm regularly amazed seeing jobless mopes driving fat cars and such. But you have to admit, it fits perfectly in a capitalistic system.
Übergeek 바둑이: I can I give you a notion of the silent anarchy, the spirited fight against injustice, the revolution of gestures, the wipe out with intelligence and the since ever better arguments. That's a philosophic work. No baseball bats involved. The fight goes on since when? 5000 years? Our generation can make significant steps forward, and we have to. The world is at the edge of being destroyed.
Übergeek 바둑이: It does, indeed. In '91 it was the people defending Jelzin and Gorbachev from being putched. At this point the russians wanted to maintain the soviet union, but wanted a democratic elected and strong president. The sovietunion was struck in a economic immobility, and the people absolutely wanted, needed a change. Through the time, people went out to the street, to be tanked down. From weirdos in marxist disguise.
By the way, it's not capitalism that won over a soviet failure. It was the peoples lionhearted courage, not the terror organization CIA in the chicken background. Hungary, Poland 1956. Czechoslovakia 1968, they tore down the wall, not reagan, not kohl, it was the "wir sind das volk". That's something completely different. Capitalism is seductive to some with a affinity to immorality, but it's a total outdated attitude.
Übergeek 바둑이: Right wing is far from bourgeois, not even share holding cravat fashion is. This neoconservative experiment was supposed to be the start of the end of history, like the capitalist victory over communism. We bourgeois need to destroy capitalism too, obviously. But "real" Americans don't care about 9.1% jobless rate, why should one look after losers. Americans are not into christians values, they are brute.
And CAMERON is promptly running a riot. To cut internet to "agitators". But who defines what a "agitator" is. I am a agitator. I want this sick politician to wake up promptly (in my dreams).
Who is in amazement about the riots, but wasn't about the brutality of share holders? The significant looters are rich, you are not misled by a cravat, are you.
Basically these suburbs need to look for their own, but it is inappropriate to cut them the ties to the center of society. These ties need to be restored quickly, less prejudices is a good starting point, there are families living who deserve (and are promised) a dignified life.
Riots like this where only a question of time, I know quite a few good articles about the problems of this youth from the past 10 years, these kids have always been a point of interest to me.
We know that these suburbs are neglected. They need more than their youth centers back. The British society has debts towards these regions. That's the much more important discussion as how to respond to the violence. I'm not saying it's the usual house owner having these debts, no no, it's the Boris Johnson kind of dudes, the David Camerons. They need to get tough toward the people who have become too rich the past years, toward the people who force cuts for the sole purpose to benefit cash in their own pockets. Yes, these rich who transport the lie that reducing taxes does create jobs. It's their throat we need to go for with cleverness, not with baseball bats, although that would be great.
I don't think we need this for good police work. Scientifically: "Google Group Members to Use Facial Recognition to Identify London Rioters" http://t.co/56EOicX
I wouldn't treat that lightly, despite I like drama and big movies and pop corn, but when I want to party, no one's around anymore. My trained eye tells me that the problems are completely different than the media hawks around. Fact is, News Corp. is the story that matters on this island.
"Google Group Members to Use Facial Recognition to Identify London Rioters" http://t.co/56EOicX
Brits don't need to be astounded, bankers waving banknotes to protesters. Remember? I don't endorse violence, but the chiefs from Londoner suburbs must be frustrated and nobody has to wonder why they slacken the reins. The Brits are rich and they are too rich at the expense of these suburbs!
Übergeek 바둑이: Well look, there has never been more hungry people as these days. Politicians everywhere try them self in patchworking the systems and obviously fail. So, basicly, we'll have a majority of people without work, because our standards of agriculture are getting better, because machines make most of the stuff, and we profitate from migrants willing to work a lot of hours in jobs nobody wants to do. For two decades we were willing to hope that some sort of share holder value would fix all our problems, the very same value that killed all the jobs. Certain people are despered enough to want to push people into jobs which frankly do not exist. In order to create jobs you have to think small-scale, very small scale. This industrialisation not only went a little too far, it's waaay out of hand.
Übergeek 바둑이: If you'd make this your political program and propagate it as something priority to handle social problems, then you fail to see that social problems come with missing perspective. To get people to work, to make them indeed "function", all the families comunities etc you need to bust the wall street, that is priority road. You need to get the banks back in the role they are BEST thought for, not a elitary club of avoiders of folk fete. Go figure where abuse is coming from. Most in poverty are trapped in awful difficult lifesituations, and they can figure abuse, coins against BILLIONS.
Относно: Re:***The Times of London and BBC News contributed to this report***.
Isn't it rich that the ones that designed the system that got us into this mess are the same ones designing the system to getting us out!
Artful Dodger: I don't think that this is possible to happen. Look at Sarkozy's son, this 23 year old won't make it 60 years or so from now on within this pervert "designer class" (it's demonic). Not only from his own mental point of vue he won't be able to stand this lifestyle, there is also an other side .... people.
This is why I have problems with all this blah blah about change (without as I wouldn't respect the will to change and step back of irresponsable pretensions). The reality is something comletely different.
Europe's problems with the EU are growing. What is the Lissabon treaty the Irish voted about without that there would have been a real discussion about? It is the militarisation of the EU, the demontage of the Irish neutrality, it's the obligation to invest more in the weapon industry, it allows military force over it's own population. The power will get centralsed in favor of France, Germany and GB. This new treaty will strengthen the repression agains the population, even the Frontex organisation gets immovable with this treaty. Also, this treaty will dump wages with it's perverted domestic marcet rules. Last point I mention, the need of reforms in the finance sector all are talking about, lots of possibilities discussed now will simply be forbidden with this treaty. Good luck in oposing against the ugly figures ruling Europe. I see very black for the future of the EU, resp. a life under the moloch EU. It's all about money for a perverted high society.
Point to me is ,"international diplomaty", "new climate of international politics", "vision of a world without nuclear weapons(pfff)", that's the megalomanic sphere, I don't have anything to do with it, it doesn't help me, interest me bother me, it's a message from a distant world of puffed-up peeps who have no idea what's going on. That's the world of the supranational solutions, I don't feel anybit at home when I think about change among the megalomaniacs. I think among these figures, Obama deserves the price. For the emotianal boost of the show lol.
All that changes is the wages o the profiteers, so they don't get the real change that is indeed happening. Do you actually #>$+%##€ think that wages of workers doubled as the all the f'#!|$> first class products. The hands that litteraly build up what you are sitting in?!!!?!?!?
(V): I can explain. It's the psychological effect of the comassionless somehow satisfied two third whose brain switches to "ok everythings fine-mode". The left third works and struggles hard.
It is ugly boring, change has not happen yet, tons of blah blah and no action, but not even words to eliminish these ugly circumstances urgently now, mr. Obama has no need to be told what action has to happen immediatly.
Swiss foodmulti Nestlé takes milk from a dispossessed farm in Zimbabwe owned by Mugabes wife dispiting international sanctions. Nestlé, allocated in Switzerland feel not bound on EU and US sanctions against Mugabe, his family and his surrounding. Nestlé justifies it's engagement with the sorrow of the struggling population. The company "supports and respects international human rights". In vue of Mugabes ongoing terror and the robbing of 4500 white farmers an elusive claim.
Things like this, that's daily news in proper newspapers and over here we are used to know that. Money counts in these circles, it's for a sensitive public PR-machines get mobilised, there is no moral with Nestlé. These companies poach in foreign countries, this is big money Swiss. There are no philosophical or theological questions arising, the behaviour and output of companies of that kind is simply catastrophic. Just not for us, we seem to feel very good as rich..
Относно: that would be considered very bad taste and would likely to result in a banning and possibly some action by the police.
(V): you underestimate that people living in wealth don't share the same degree of compassion. It is certain that these people Übergeek mentions don't feel any remorse about, and people like that are MANY OF YOU.
(V): betting on if people will get killed would be considered very bad taste and would likely to result in a banning and possibly some action by the police.
Even though this particular example shows limits on how far some can go, you have to consider that weathy people act without compassion, control global corporations with catastrophic output and are above laws and governments.
The rule is entirely opposite, very bad taste does not result in bannings and actions by police, the stock markets show every day that very bad taste keeps going on while it is in the awareness of the majority that all this Friedman whitewash of pure amorality is a hoax.
Artful Dodger: The nuclear waste of powerplants will pursuit generations, even following zivilisations. The final depots allready build turned out to be not very final, and nobody wants a final depot in it's neighbourhood, a endless problem. The International Atomic Energy Agency has reports talking about drug consume among workers in nuclear plants, this business is pure decadence. The newest generation of reactors gets build up in Finnland, and it's a strange awful mess, many objections, double of planed costs ect. (in Olkiluoto). A western companies builds up a "new" one in eastern Europe, the same type like in Chernobyl. This industry talks about a renaissance while many of the new power plants they talk about to illustrate this renaissance are construction cadavers. The recource uran is much shorter supply as oil and will get unpayable in 1 ore 2 decades. The environmental balance of nuclear power plants is very bad (mining of Uran and waste noone knows how to stock). The favoration of decadence over reason keeps power alternatives low, while the technique to awoid nuclear power plants is already here, on the market. Today you have lights using 3 Watt, the same light we used to use 60 Watt for few years ago and these examples are countless, like running a internet session with 10 Watt instead of 200, ever thought about running a fridge with water instead of electricity etc etc etc.
Nuclear power industry illustrates the decadence the best. One law of twisted human nature is squeezing the lemon till it's bitter end, like activating a granade but not wanting to throw it. This illustrates what I wrote a day two ago. The business model "nuclear power plant" is only possible because of corrupted politicians, it's the perversion of profit thinking, irresponsability at its worst, manipulation, corruption, decadence, lazyness, profiteering, collection of fists at latest.
Относно: Re:I will join the the thousands that are boycotting the boycotters
Artful Dodger: What really blocks the progress is this silly "feelgood-syndrome". People content themself with talking about compassion they don't actually feel, as everything would be done. Switzerland is too rich for wake up calls, lazy boring idiots while people who struggle are not few
Относно: Re:I will join the the thousands that are boycotting the boycotters
gogul: I could admit that some of top politicians are not aware how much out of line they are, but among them there are criminals, and they need to get stopped. The ways this world goes is a stray. Still.
Artful Dodger: I think I read you right. The other way around you could speak about equality. From my point of vue, equality will cost something, not to the poor, not to the middle class. My point of vue, of course I get news made for Europeans. Today you hear the politicians talking about the need of reforms, social equity, the need to do more for environment. All things they closed their eyes from the past 30 years, things they don't even understand something about (like nuclear power, a Sarcozy simply fades out knowledge about nuclear power, and deals like a cracy with it) and continue to close their eyes about. It's pure hypocrisy what you hear from the establishments these days, the collateral law making of the very same days is the language I take for full. I don't have nothing from policicians speaking out their false minds, but their laws SUCK me like the need of vampires, and it's obvious that it is very rich global actors who bought and buy the governments. Living at the top of the babel tower is their natural pleasure. It's a waste of time to get mad about food stamps and how much this costs the tax payers. 1 mill of the robbed fortune of this topclass would finance this, but of course that's not a solution. The redistribution of wealth upwards is a constant process within the lawmaking. Young politicians need to get strait about, the established ones are lost. The very same people who created this last banking crisis, or created the social mess in Germany, are not taking responsability today, all they try is to save their skin while searching a way to continue the abuse.
Относно: Re:I will join the the thousands that are boycotting the boycotters
Artful Dodger: To me it doesn't make sense. This is big show and ranting to distract from the amorality of the establishment which Beck is part of. It will take some time to make this comprehend and to awake the will to change it but it will happen. The establishments, no matter if right or left, are robbing us, and Becks behaviour shows that he understands this and is running allready. Nothing can stop the lost of our ugly establishments, not Becks ranting, not Obamas silence about, nothing can stop the obvious :)
GTCharlie: GTCharlie: I can't evaluate it. Same with Beck btw. I probably like the provocation as well as these both do, that's why I looked up with this "a"-case.
A Beck can do and say what he wants, even if it's to propose a 7 year old girl to buy her a one way ticket to Africa. Cheep one. Over here the pharma industry has a unacceptable governing power, banks do/did. That's the dimension I miss well placed provocations. Lobbyism, that's enrichment at expenses of the populace, that's profiteering with full awareness, that's the declaired wish to treat us like a sponge. What did Beck, organising a demonstration of the tax payers? Pleeeeaaaz you feel good paying taxes? Aaaah I'm a good citizen I pay tax lol Civil disobediance is my recommendation for the next years, I'm gaining experiance with this myself. You can't change anything in health care as long as as you persuade youself that elected decide indepenently. Politicians need to live at an average level, something like 50K imo
Capitalism needs regulation, or it's getting out of hand, to the disadvantage of normal people. No regulation on regional scale, at the level we have an eye on each other, why not. But soon as politicians and businessman hide from the public, I'm in fovor of regulation with help of the prison.
Artful Dodger: I don't know enough about him. Anyway, somebody who critisises the courrent ways in economy and politics isn't a communist or socialist or what ever per se. The freemarket ideology is a failure, this is something I insist on and it does not make me a radical to say this. The problems for working and environment are simply outreagous. Freemarket ideology = criminal energy.
Nice the reactions on the "a" word. Interesting that we use "idiot", but "a" is tabooed. The connotation of the both is two different things, first is for somebody who can't develop reason, the "a" stands for bad behaviour. What is wrong with Van Jones efforts? Then he called republicans "a's", excuses didn't make a difference to that. Well, I'm solidary with peple who feel the need to swear at times, what else can one do. I understand anyone who titles the freemarket ideologists as "a's". I read you about immigrants. Don't forget that our rich countries host companies who trash the world, but get this whitewash at home. Whose objective balances of their business models are nonsense, but fine enough to enrich us, the citizens of rich countries. Freemarket ideology = This is the freedom to treat the earth like a sponge, to kill jobs, wages ect. Better chase immigrants or those who need food stamps instead? Get real, chase those who create the problems and poach in those regions immigrants come from.
About time to clean up with the Friedman/neocon/pseudofreemarket/repub BS idioty. Criminal energie, that describes the Bush tendencies and all this crap. I need to start the thing again. The American republicans are low life and nothing else. The american democrats are no better. The US is a ridiculous country owned by criminals. Lets go on with this, reason proves my point of view. Switzerland is no better. Even worse.
