MadMonkey: Well, more precisely, it was on the page that appears when safe script is updated... :O) My computer is running slow and I know that there are things I've deleted that left leftovers... I was wondering if something like that would help. Thank you for the link, I'll check it out.
MadMonkey: Ian can you tell me after the last firefox update why it keeps closing down saying its doing it because ive entered a web site that could lead to my computer becoming infected
It must have been just advertising i would imagine as it is not a Mozilla product i have ever heard of
As for the product i used it years ago, but there are far better products around depending what issues you are trying to address..... Read this review and make your own mind up Registry Booster Review
Another one of those days i am going to put something from my Monkeys Cyber Cafe Fellowship on here
First, a neat little Firefox Add-on i found.
I love to subscribe to RSS Feeds, in fact they are the main source of this Fellowship. I have tried all different ones, from having them directed to Thunderbird (the awesome e-mail client made by Mozilla) to having them in a scrolling Task-bar.....both of which had good and bad point
Now i have found Feedly, a GREAT Firefox Add-on. Basically it lets you design your own magazine style start page, and you can subscribe to whatever feeds you wish. It takes about 15 minutes to delete the default ones it comes with (if you wish to of course) and set your own up, and also puts a little icon beside the home page one in the Navigation Bar, just click that, it opens a separate Tab, with all your subscribed Feed items in. I have set my default to latest News. There is also a little +f at the end of the Address window should you come across a site you like and wish to add that to your Subscriptions. All in all i think it is GREAT
AND Secondly while i am on Add-ons........
This is still Experimental, BUT if your like me and like playing lol
Snoopy: Then i guess you're looking for image editor. Paint.net is a very nice and simple freeware tool for that purpose. You can get it from http://www.getpaint.net/
MadMonkey: Yep, it is one of the most common things i get even when it is on someones Computer, it is a nightmare, and some people just pay the money to shut it up.
BUT that remove Fake Anti-Virus is great for killing it
MadMonkey: Not sure what that was but it kept popping up..shucks even the Dell tech person was surprised as well. I couldn't do anything. The personal security thing is a virus or a hacker
MadMonkey: The Uninstaller.....he finally got rid of the uninstaller in the add & remove part but the Personal Security thing popped up that they wanted me to but an $90 to 100 system from them
MadMonkey: Had a slight problem, when I went to click on the download part to actually delete the game, I had to accept the terms & conditions ( for some dumb reason). When my brother used my comp, the personal security from the site popped up & he or I couldn't even get back on-line except to check my mail. Had to re-install everything all over again

MadMonkey:I am using Avira AntiVir personal (the free version) for a couple of years. And i am happy with it. The update-server didnt work well for 2 or three months, but thats time ago and now everything works well.
I have used both Avast and AVG in the past and as puupia and wetware say, they are both very good. I have just noticed on the FileHippo download site that AntiVir Personal has toped there Anti Virus download charts. I was wondering what it is like ?
TigerCat: Good stuff, it is a great program.....dont know why it didnt get rid of the icon though, that is the last thing it does.
After it runs the uninstaller it then gives you the option to delete all associated registry values and any other files it can find. Still as long as its gone
MadMonkey: I just used the Revo Uninstaller & it uninstalled every file that was w/ that game! Thank You so much! The only thing it kept is the icon in my add or remove section but i can deal w/ that part
MadMonkey: I haven't reformatted anything as of yet. The only thing that the tech did was re-installed everything from the Dell's disc's & they were even on the phone w/ another tech person. A completely brand new hard drive was installed. I was w/ them while they were doing it as well so I'm completely baffled myself
TigerCat I am baffled myself on a reformatted & built hard drive how the program is still there, i have never known it. All i can think is who ever did it for you did not do what they say they did
you may try an uninstaller like "ashampoo uninstaller" or "absolute uninstaller" (just google for it). its mysterious, indeed, that it occurs on a new drive, but with uninstaller-software you can not make something wrong!
Czuch: Didn't save any files...the tech person re-installed everything from Dell. Haven't re-installed the game tho. That is what I thought as well, when you get a brand new hard-drive, you'll start off brand new w/ nothing left from the old 1. Not even sure how or why this particular game stayed.
TigerCat: I have no idea really, but I just got a new hard drive as well, and I thought that it was like a whole brand new computer, with absolutely nothing left from the old hard drive?
Did you save any files etc and bring them back after installing the new hard drive?
I'm wondering on how to get rid of a game. I got the Survivor game on a disk & was playing it before my comp crashed. Got a brand new harddrive & that game is still on my comp. It is listed in my "add or remove" section. When I clicked on remove, It couldn't do it becuase it was either invalid or corrupted. A friend said that I can reformat everything but not quite on how to do it. Would there be something I do to get the game off my comp? System restore can't do anything. Thanks
6. January 2010, 22:41:40 US Patent 6944746 - RISC processor supporting one or more uninterruptible co-processors 1. A method of processing instructions in a computer system comprising a processor and a co-processor communicatively coupled to the processor, wherein the processor includes a co-processor interface communicatively coupled to the co-processor, the method comprising:
(a) processing instructions in the processor in an instruction pipeline wherein instructions are processed sequentially by an instruction fetch stage, an instruction decode stage, an instruction execute stage, a memory access stage and a result write-back stage; and
(b) if a co-processor instruction is received by the processor, performing steps of:
(b)(i) providing the co-processor instruction to the co-processor interface during the instruction execute stage: and (b)(ii) transmitting the co-processor instruction from the co-processor interface to the co-processor during the memory access stage.
2. The method of claim 1 further comprising a step (c) of:
(c) if an interrupt or exception is received by the processor, canceling an instruction that is in the instruction execute stage when the interrupt is received and reissuing the instruction starting at the instruction fetch stage.
3. The method of claim 2 wherein if an interrupt or exception is received by the processor when a co-processor instruction is in the instruction execute stage, the co-processor instruction is canceled before the co-processor instruction is transmitted to the co-processor and the co-processor instruction is reissued starting at the instruction fetch stage.
4. The method of claim 1 wherein the co-processor is a processing element for which sending the same co-processor instruction to the co-processor twice decreases the performance of the co-processor.
5. The method of claim 1 wherein the processor is a reduced instruction set computer (RISC) processor.
6. The method of claim 1 wherein the system is a media decoding system, the processor is a core decoder processor and the co-processor is a decoding accelerator adapted to assist the core processor with a decoding function.
7. A computer system comprising:
a processor adapted to process instructions in an instruction pipeline wherein instructions are processed sequentially by an instruction fetch stage, an instruction decode stage, an instruction execute stage, a memory access stage and a result write-back stage, the processor including a co-processor interface; and
a co-processor communicatively coupled to the co-processor interface of the processor and adapted to perform processing tasks in response to co-processor instructions provided by the processor;
wherein the processor is adapted to provide a co-processor instruction to the co-processor interface during the instruction execute stage and wherein the co-processor interface is adapted to transmit the co-processor instruction to the co-processor during the memory access stage.
8. The system of claim 7 wherein if an interrupt is received by the processor, the processor is adapted to cancel an instruction that is in the instruction execute stage when the interrupt is received and to reissue the instruction starting at the instruction fetch stage.
9. The system of claim 8 wherein if an interrupt is received by the processor when a co-processor instruction is in the instruction execute stage, the processor is adapted to cancel the co-processor instruction before the co-processor instruction is transmitted to the co-processor and to reissue the co-processor instruction starting at the instruction fetch stage.
10. The system of 7 wherein the co-processor is a processing element for which sending the same co-processor instruction to the co-processor twice decreases the performance of the co-processor.
11. The system of claim 7 wherein the processor is a reduced instruction set computer (RISC) processor.
12. The system of claim 7 wherein the system is a media decoding system, the processor is a core decoder processor and the co-processor is a decoding accelerator adapted to assist the core processor with a decoding function. Other References

MadMonkey: Wish I had a quarter for everytime I did that I keep wondering: If Microsoft puts out such an inferrior product, how come more aren't flocking to Apple? What can a PC do that a Mac can't?
