coan.net: I honestly don't know what happened to the post Tuesday mentioned. I'm afraid it was accidently deleted but have no idea by whom. Either way I'm very sorry that happened.
wetware: That's how I see it too. Some players just know how to stack the odds in their favor. Some players I consistently beat in the dice games. Others I play I get taken to school. It's not so much about the rolls they get but their knowing what to do with those rolls.
I suspect Fencer has many safeguards to keep BrainKing burglar free ;)
bouncer: I'm not sure it's possible to cheat on BK when it comes to controlling what the dice do. The dice rolls are controlled by the program on the server that Fencer is in control of. I know I have played people who seem to get just the right rolls but I don't think they are really doing anything except being very lucky. They probably think that of me when i get the perfect roll.
I remember once when my opponent kept getting doubles. Tons of them. I got ticked about it but didn't say anything. After losing the game I went back and counted the doubles. Turns out, I had more doubles than my opponent!
if someone posts a long link, it used to stretch out the page and screw up all the other posts. Now if someone posts a long link, I have a scroll bar in that post. It no longer message up the screen. My question is this: Is that feature something that is activated by changing one's settings or is it automatic? And does it also work for WebTV?
Bernice: More likely logged on but away from her computer. I do that all the time. Plus you can't see the boards if you are busy playing the games. :) But never fear, I am here. I'm of no real help but I'm here.
However, I will be remiss if I don't point out the inconsistency in K calling for adherence to an unwritten social contract while simultaneously severely violating several principles of the written one (User's Agreement).
Fencer: I have a question for you. I was sponsoring a bishop and it didn't seem to be going through. So I tried three times and the third time it went. Then I saw that I had the two other biship memberships still in my shopping cart. When I went to cancel them, I couldn't but they must have cancelled on their own. Am I missing something? :) Thanks in advance
