3. Double & Triple choice Backgammon ( Backgammon (BIG BAD WOLF, 2006-12-20 00:41:30) )
4. Sphere Battleboats Plus (We need another battleboat game)
5. Another game which I made up
6. One of those Checker games some have been wanting.
7. One of those Chess games some have been wanting.
8. Ludo Variant - Ludo is very popular, so why not a variant of some sort.
9. A Word Game
10. A card game - like Texas Hold'em or Rummy

Gordon Shumway: Sphere Line4 - interesting. So in Sphere, do you mean left-right AND top-bottom. That would be interesting. Still start placing pieces at the bottom, but now once the columns make it near the top, you have to be carefull with connecting to the bottom of the page to make a line.

BIG BAD WOLF: Yes, that was the idea! I think it would be
a) a very interesting game and
b) possibly the last extension to the whole Line4-family that I could imagine ;) (Except of course Sphere Anti Line4[obvious] and Cylinder Linetris )

Gordon Shumway: Sphere Line 4???? Isn't that a win in 5 moves for the first player?

BIG BAD WOLF: Oops ... I was too hasty and didn't think it through (I failed to realize some moves cannot be made because they're not connected to the border).

After some more thought I still think the first player has a "forced" win (10 moves???), but I have to study the game better.

Anyway ... in Sphere Spider Line4 there's a "forced" win for the first player.

hexkid: Ok, Sphere Spider Line4 is too much anyway So if Sphere Line4 isn't a forced white win - I would LOVE to see it here!

joshi tm: Speaking of Froglet - SMALL FROGLET - I rarely play Froglet anymore because it takes so long - a smaller board version would be a nice variant.

As for Ludo - I would like to see 2-dice version - that is you roll 2 dice every turn. You get our of "home" with either a 1 or a 6. And you then move pieces with the 2 dice your roll every turn. You can also split up the dice - so if you roll a 2,6 - you can move 1 piece 2 spaces, and move another piece 6 spaces.

BIG BAD WOLF: Small (8x8) Froglet is indeed a great addition to the site, as are the large (16x16) version. (I like longer games).

Any Ataxx or Assimilation variant would be good. With some random black squares(islands) would be fun that can not be controlled by anyone. Work your way around them

More multiplayer games (like Ponds), maybe Dudo.
