The discussion on "moderating by the moderators" is the prime example. In real life we dont have moderators going around and editing conversations or banning people from conversing in public. Instead we have morals and the ability to choose who we interact with. Here - we have those that take advantage of the public boards to ignore what others find decent and we need these moderators to balance the lack of our ability to walk away.
