I have an issue in the way tournament deadlines are set up. I used to se up lots of tournaments but have quit. the reason being I am tired of the way some people set up a deadline for sign ups then have this lengthy extension for more signups. I feel if you set a deadline that should be it. If not enough people sign up then too bad. I feel it is unfair for newer tournaments to be buried 2 or 3 pages down the line behind tournaments which have weeks of extension time beyond the deadline they set up. I looked for new tournaments and I had to get down at least halfway on to page 2 of the tournament list to find a newer one which deadline hadnt yet passed. I feel if Fencer does not change the way time deadlines are set up for tournaments it will make people less likely to sign up for tournaments. If you want extensions that is fine but lets make it more reasonable like 3-5 days past the set deadline. Thanks.
