Subjekt: The ratings.
OK Fencer, I'll post it here then.

Is the ratings thing working correctly? I've noticed that it seems rather arbitrary with the points it gives and takes. If I'm 300 points ahead of my opponent, shouldn't he gain more than me if he wins? And lose less the me if he loses?
Also, I'm rated in Crowded Backgammon, even though I've only played 3 games. Mely is not listed on the provisional Dark Chess list even though he's played 9 games and has a rating of 2284.

=============================================

The 300 difference question comes from two game that "grenv" and I just finished.

Mely has replied to my query. He doesn't know why he's not listed. His theory is that he's won every game and ELO (I don't know what he means by ELO, but Electric Light Orchestra is probably not what he has in mind) doesn't recognize him for some reason. I replied that GothicInventor has won everygame and he's listed. So what gives?
