rabbitoid: If you experience speed issues, I always recommend to visit http://host-tracker.com and check BrainKing accessibility from different places around the world.

Which is what I have just done and it shows that there is no problem in about 65% of tested locations and the rest is showing a "no reply" error message. Since it is definitely a network problem somewhere, there is nothing we can do about it - BrainKing is fast and stable but some network nodes are probably malfunctioning.

rabbitoid: It might be interesting if you post a traceroute output because, of course, my own one is flawless (probably because it does not cross our country border).

I've also tried an online traceroute tool to check the route from some place in the world. Looks like there really is "something on the way":
