Subjekt: Re: but it is not worth a tenfold of the current monthly fee I am already paying. Expenses must be reasonable too.
Andersp: you are like a jack russell at the ankles! Why dont you just give it a rest? You havent said anything, not ONE thing constructive! Why are you still here? I would of thought you would of left by now if you are this unhappy here.....how weird you stay!
I havent paid for a membership here for personal reasons, absolutely NOTHING to do with this site or with YOU for that matter.
Subjekt: Re: but it is not worth a tenfold of the current monthly fee I am already paying. Expenses must be reasonable too.
Andersp: so again I personally ask you...if you are seriously not happy why are you here? Go to another gamesite! Why pay for the life long membership here if its that bad? Why constantly attack Fencer? Why keep moaning on & on & on & on & on etc etc etc .........................
Last post by me on here because I dont want to sound as bad....
Subjekt: Re: but it is not worth a tenfold of the current monthly fee I am already paying. Expenses must be reasonable too.
Ewe: Ewe: I can't speak for Andersp, but when I took the life membership plunge, response times seemed relatively quick. I think I even managed to make >500 moves in a day--but now that's just inconceivable.
I'll try to be constructive--or at least informative--by saying that it's only recently (say, 2-3 weeks or so?) that I've had to wait a much longer time for a response, with the browser displaying this status: "Waiting for http://www.brainking.com/...etc..."
This is true whether I'm connected at home via DSL, or at work (on a much speedier system) via T1.
I don't think I can blame my individual PC's, nor ISP's. But maybe I should "Czech" out some other .cz sites to see how connectivity seems from here in the USA Midwest.
Subjekt: Re: but it is not worth a tenfold of the current monthly fee I am already paying. Expenses must be reasonable too.
wetware: How many years does it take before the lifetime membership to begin paying dividands? 10? Nothing personal to this site, but too much can transpire over that period of time in such an evolving relatively new communication field.Look back 10 years and see how much has changed. As a show of faith it's nice, but maybe not a wise investment
Subjekt: Re: but it is not worth a tenfold of the current monthly fee I am already paying. Expenses must be reasonable too.
</b"certain user>: I sense a moral issue here.I think everyone wants to feel appreciated,Fencer included, but the rhetoric has pushed many peoples backs to the corner with no escape in sight.
Subjekt: Re: I think everyone wants to feel appreciated
Jim Dandy: I don't have a need to feel appreciated, just a need for certain players to TAKE THEIR TURN in what I personally perceive to be a decent period of time - - - maybe this is why BK is running so crappy for me, I just don't appreciate enough?
Subjekt: Re: I think everyone wants to feel appreciated
srnity: I had to look to see if we had a game. The feeling I get is that certain paying customers feel unappreciated,I don't have enough knowledge of the history here to have an opinion if it's warrented.I'm considering dwnloading firefox to see if it improves the speed,I like this site but the current speed is a pain, especially if you want to fire through say 50 moves prior to work
Subjekt: Re: I had to look to see if we had a game
Jim Dandy: Oops, sorry, wasn't thinking about it from that angle I have Firefox, it updates itself automatically, disk clean and defrag are automatically set too - I'm running better this evening then yesterday around this time (first time here today) - any better for you? And how many "hops" did you get, btw?
Subjekt: Re: I had to look to see if we had a game
srnity: I have yet to download it,I'm trying to find the best and newest edition.I think firefox 3 is soon to be released.........the only "hops' I understand are used in beer.
Jim Dandy: I have Firefox2 and Internet explorer on my pc. My games are loading fast tonight, I had it on Firefox and my Ludo games only took one sec. to load all the way, I switched to IE. and the ludo games took four seconds each time. The point I'm getting at is Firefox is way better and if you don't like it just take it back off your PC. It's free so you got nothing to loose.
Uninvited: The site is humming along better tonite.I think I'll take the firefox leap anyway, but I'm a creature of habit, probably the same reason I could never learn to drive standard lol

Jim Dandy: Fencer is a very smart guy, he has a brilliant product but often he forgets the fundmental in business..to keep his customers happy.
I've seen his 'type" many times, my last boss in Sweden was very good in his profession but he could ask anyone to "go to h" if he was in that mood. His carreer ended in 2 bancrupcies :)
I've tried to tell Fencer many times but then someone "pops up" and tell me to stop moaning :)
I do like Brain King but im worried that it wont last too long. Only a question who gets tired first, Fencer or his customers..
