There were tears behind my eyes on the second hearing, that I then knew were there on the first. Gerard Way has a fanTASTic voice. It almost feels endless, like he could go forever and never reach the wall. Well chosen, thanks for sharing that. I plan to buy the CD, because the whole album is a story, according to Wikipedia, and I intend to feel the whole thing. The band cites Queen as a strong influence on the album, as well as Pink Floyd's The Wall. I can hear that. But, they have struck their own vein. Here's hoping they continue to mine it. You know, sometimes new music feels like just so much noise, or venom.
