Tuesday: That is because they only tell you what they want you to know.
For eg we were taught at school that when the French stormed the Bastille there were lots of political prisoners released but in fact that was not true. The truce was only a handful of people were actually imprisoned in the Bastille at the time.
Its the same with the Patriot and even with BraveHeart not everything in those films are is true but make for better viewing figures and people would rather believe those versions.
