why was my last post deleted? AD is insulting me,because I point out the irony of the "Thoughts and Prayer" board...and those posts remain?Did I insult anyone by pointing out that the thoughts and prayers of BrainKing members, must first be approved?
I'm not banned on any board. Why get personal because I feel a BrainKing public board called"thoughts and prayers" must have posts approved, and is abit on the "ironic"side?

no but your behavior on the boards IS subject to the approval by moderators. [edited]
Like it or not, your behavior on any board I moderate IS SUBJECT TO MY APPROVAL. Or the approval of any moderator.
And I've NEVER been unfair. The only thing ironic is how someone with your record of being banned and repremanded over and over is complaining about a board being responsibly moderated.
Like I said, you just want to bring trouble where there is no trouble.
I unbanned you, not the main moderator. You were unbanned because I cut you some slack. Post it now and I'll approve it right away like I ALWAYS DO for appropriate posts. We NEVER turn away an appropriate post. NEVER.
If anyone has any other questions regarding this policy of approving posts first, write to either Radiant or myself. No one has ever complained. Most appreciate that we screen the posts so we keep off the junk. It's more work for us moderators but we don't mind the extra work. I'm on here several times a day and that DB is the FIRST thing I check. If there are posts awaiting approval, I take care of that first thing.
I have written THE main moderator, and was unbanned.
yet I see others have to be approved.
One of our members lost a loved one today...and I wanted to say something regarding it,yet the board meant for "thoughts and prayers" must be approved....so I did it on another public board.

why not
and why do you care? What's the big deal. I see nothing wrong with it. Further, if it really bothered you, why have you NOT written to either moderator about it?
Teema: I don't see why anyone would be offended by having their posts approved anywhere before they
are posted to the main board..
Perhaps if they were all ran like that.. the boards might just be family orientated without all the problems of people flaming.. I know that includes me.. cause I have jumped back.. and I have said some harsh things on the boards.. I am no goody too shoe.. But, maybe things wouldn't get so out of hand either..
Teema: not to change the subject....but does anyone else find it abit strange that all thoughts and prayers must be approved? LOL:)
why not ask the moderators instead of making up reasons that are NOT true. One might ask WHY having posts approved is a strange thing. It is after all a feature available to moderators. ALL POST ARE APPROVED with only a few exceptions. Exceptions are usually for posts that are innappropriate. Most are not which is why nearly every post is approved as quickly as they can be.
Someone actually tried to post something that while on the surface seemed appropriate, his motives were bad and he was just trying to rub someone's face in the mud. We all know there are some real jerks on BK that will do anything to intrude and disrupt the lives of others.
yes i just found it Bwild :( it would appear that prayers and best wishes may come from the heart but only if someone thinks they are worthy of public viewing :(...sad really..
unless someone was smart and posting horrible stuff which wouldnt surprise me :(
It is an old arguement of fast players compared to slow players. There are 2 sides to the arguement and in the end there is no resolution. Like I have always said in these situations is only take games and tournaments in which the time limits are something that you can live with. IF you think the time limit is too long then dont play the game or tournament. I personally play games that have 3 day or shorter limit for the most part. However Mrloupcity does bring up the newest way to prolong games by those who wish to abuse the limit by having auto vacations kick in to prevent time outs. I would suggest that auto vacations be non-existent in tournaments. IF you do decide to play a game or tournament which has a long time frame to play a move then you really have no complaint when the opponent uses the whole time frame to make their move.
That's the logical fallacy, in your first sentece - assuming that because he doesn't move quickly you assume him to be a person not to be trusted. Why is this? There is no need to get into it as it has been discussed at length elsewhere, but if he doesn't time out, he's not doing anything wrong. Simply because you prefer to move more quickly does not make him wrong for moving more slowly.
NO, it has to do with trust. We trust the most people on here will be a good sport and make move in good time. But when u have a tourney going on a board. That only has 4 people playing in it u would think that it might not take long to play. But now I see that they don't have to make there next move tell Jan 5th. And then more then not will take and keep using auto vac. Just to hold up the game. What big fight would start if I started waiting tell last hours to play in all the tourneys I'm in. And yes I think u know what I mean. SORRY BK board that I have went off topic where. But just wanted to make the point, and it still now days it all comes back to trusting some1 I don't know.
:o{P
So mrloupcity - are you suggesting that simply because he moves slow in his games on Brainking that he will write a program in order to infect other users' computers with viruses? That has got to be THE WORST logic I have EVER heard.
By the way, I had the same problem as THE HIT MAN - it downloads part way, and then during install says some of the files have been corrupted. The only explaination I have would be a server problem (it does display the correct total size, but simply refuses to complete the download).
VIKINGX I had this very same problem last august here in australia...attempted it about 3 times from different cell phones/mobile etc...never ever got a confirmation code....
I ended up having to send money to another members bank account so they could pay it thru PayPal...Moneybookers in australia is very expensive to use and isnt a good option for us.
Who is your local customer service rep of BrainKing? ask them what to do :)
