I have some suggestions for some really new game ideas--some lines of action variation-rules are the same as the regular game,plus some changes.
( I just dreamed these up now)

a lines of action variant in which a player can move a piece to a square which is occupied by an opponent's piece, it is not remove from the board.but both pieces are removed from the board.(the attacking and the defending piece)
