TexasToest: actually, what I have is Travelin Wilbury's Volume #1 & Volume #3. I don't think there is a volume 2 I'd love to have it if I've missed it tho. Handle With Care is my favorite : )
You know, no one has the vibrato Orbison had. His music is wonderful, and lots of people have their own interpretations, but he is the original. In Dreams is just lovely.
And, what can be said of Manamana? It's funny all the time. All I have to do is sing one "Manamana", and it cheers me up.

The directions are in Westwood Village Memorial Park in Westwood, California. See the story.... Maybe I'll get my friend to take me out there in November. I can get a picture.
Teema: Re: The term "kick ass rock n roll" was born from songs like this
Jim Dandy: Oh yeah! I hadn't thought about Humble Pie in years! About the same time as that - 2 years ahead, there was this concert. It was a couple of weeks after Woodstock. I missed Woodstock, but not this one. That was the time that R & R really learned about kicking a$$.
Teema: Re: I think Animé is great, for the most part!
TexasToest: I usually pay attention to the story rather the art. If you think like me, and you like philosophy, you should watch Evangelion indeed! (And in Japanese, the American dub is a true disaster.)
I've probably said it before. I once shared a stage with Willie. I had to follow him, and that was the hardest thing I ever had to do. That was right before I quit performing. I'll alwyas love him. I think he showed me that day what it takes to really serve an audience.
Tuesday: I'm not sure about "takin care of business" being done spontaneously, but I am aware that "American Woman" started as a riff that was being played by Bachman as Burton came to the stage improvising the opening lyrics.
Jim Dandy: That was a blast from the past. If that was recent, he still has a decent voice, though. Is he working on "making a come-back"? Thanks for that!!!!!
baddessi: Bachman left The Guess Who when he got tired of Burton Cummings drinkin and drugin. He went on to form Brave Belt and later BTO.There was bad blood between the two(and many lawsuits)until recently. They reformed The Guess Who about 5 years ago and tour off and on.Bachman also tours with a version of BTO as well as solo.
