Fencer: A little touchy, are we? How am I supposed to know that the problem is not on the server side? If I knew that I wouldn't have posted the message but I DIDN'T. I was just asking if anybody else had the same problem. But excuse me, I won't be posting anymore here then.
DamnCat: Hey come on, dont be like that . Sometimes it can be traffic, but primarily, it could be your ISP, have you tried clearing your cache, history, try defragmenting as well and running the programming for clearing up disk space as well, every little helps. I also found out that my daughter and been running a programme in the background, so when i connected to the internet, the programme would start up and i didnt have a clue what it was until she told me. It can be a numerous amount of things. Fencer isnt being touchy, if there was a problem with the site, believe me he would let us all know.
bouncybouncy: what was the programm you had running in the background when you connected to the internet? I defragmented my disk last night and going to run the clear disk space today. What other things did you run? I'm actually not having problems with the loading of sites, but with my PC in general... every now and then the PC freezes for like a second until it resumes.
TeamBundy: My daughter had blubster running, which was a site for downloading music onto her I-pod. I also have Zonealarm running constantly as well, that had a bit of a glitch in it but it is sorted now. Now and again my screen freezes as well, like you said for a matter of seconds, sometimes there is no reason for it, it could be your ISP just slowing down and then kicking itself back in again.
Hmmm i am now wondering if this could be and we should take it to the computer board. If i can be of any further help please let me know.
I know this is an international site. However September 11, 2006 marks the 5 year anniversaryof the terror attacks in the USA. That attack changed the entire international landscape. Thousands died and I think their deaths should be remembered. I think unless the entire international community joins together to fight global terror we will never have peace on Earth. So on this day I ask everyone to say a little prayer that evil be defeated and that eternal peace can be attained. Please take a moment today to appreciate all that you have and be kind to your fellow man. Thank you.
Brian1971:Pity I have forgotten the date that the U.S. attacked Iraq and killed many many people in its 'fighting with terrorism.' If you remember that date, please make sure to post a message then too.
Brian1971& King Reza: this has little to do with the site brainking.
please take it to the appropriate board. i think no public board on a games site is meant for a discussion like this, so you might best continue this in a fellowship
Since Harley no longer plays on BrainKing, I was wondering who in here stead is going to continue interviewing people. It was totally nice reading the interviews, but I take it in her absence there won't be anymore if none takes her place.
nightmagic: vacation! you are trying so hard to update so fast on this site. It is the best i've been to in 5 years.... Please don't go over board like others have as to improve what already works. Just my voice as i have, and have been there to see others strangle them selfs. A little at at time.... I'm here for the long haul... but have been at others that went so fast. Don't mind me... just speaking mind as i've seen others. I like this site the best, great people, good games.
King Reza: I think your initiative is really good! I would be more for a "interviewing-committee", in the sense that the interviews were carried out offline anyhow and the interviewers duties were to collect the questions and then pass them on for publication on the site. The reason I'd be for a committee is so that more people are involved and more of the evergrowing facets and plurality (if there is such a word! ) of BK can be interviewed/represented! :)

We'll be having interviews every now and then. The person to interview will be chosen by players' votes. Every time I announce an interview is on the way, players have two weeks to send me personal messages here, with "Next Interviewee" as the subject. They should include the person's user name and ID number just in case the person decides to change his/her name. After the two weeks, I'll see if there's someone many people want to see an interview with. If there's no such person, I'll choose one of the suggested persons myself.
Please, in each message, only mention one person.
After that, I'll announce the person's name and players can start sending me questions they like to ask the selected person. As simple as that.
OK, am I going nuts - occasionally this morning, I have seen some small BK icons on top of some discussion boards - sometimes to the left of the board name, sometimes on top/middle of a discussion board. I go back to the page, and it is gone.
Fencer - are you playing around with something new again or did I not get enough sleep last night and my mind is messing with me?
MadMonkey: Maybe Fencer is getting ready for a "scavenger" hunt - to see how many a person can find.
But I also think it would make an interesting "hidden" points - randomly put the little brainy icon on a few pages throughout the site, when clicked, hidden action points are rewarded - plus if it keeps moving, they can't just go tell their friends about where it is.
BrainKing.info is down again. At least for me. It seems whenever a new article is published, I can't get to it. Maybe it just can't handle the load of everyone trying to access it.
King Reza: That sounds like a great idea! I think you should put the rules down on the "interviews!" link, because otherwise your post is going to go way down here on the board and people will not notice it.
Fencer Maybe you can write a short blog about this on brainking.info? Or have like a little icon next to the google bar that reads "New Info: Interviews" or something like this and so that it goes to the rules King Reza posted?
