When we create a Pond Run and use the option for Czech or English, doesnt what we write get translated into the other language? We have had problems where we make a felloship for a specific group ie a fellowship or for pond winners only, yet so often someone who does not read english enters anyway?

I a confused as to what the Czech and English options are used for if it is not to translate for people who only read Czech or only read English?

who doesn't change the password now, will face an "invalid password" message on the Login Page after the database upgrade. And will have to use the "forgot password" form to reset it.

Okay, suggest a better interpretation. English is not my native language. What I want to say is that who doesn't change the password now, will face an "invalid password" message on the Login Page after the database upgrade. And will have to use the "forgot password" form to reset it.

fencer could you clarify the message on the main page please "However, who follows this instructions now, will not be surprised if his password suddenly stops working after the upgrade is performed". to me it reads if we follow your instructions now that after the upgrade our passwords might not work .

I'm thinking of taking part on Guinness records for that has just happened to me. I've succeeded playing a record-breaking game at Hyper Backgammon.
In this position my opponent rolled the amazing 33 and then i rolled the DAMN amazing 66!!!!!!

Is this a major achievement or what..........? Can anyone show me a better one........?
Sorry for the OT but i think Fencer has to re-evaluate the way dice is treating against me

On the page for BKR. can we have it also show what our average established BKR is? Then we can see how far away from the top 50 we are

BIG BAD WOLF & Fencer: yes, I know that. I was just replying to Vikings comment and trying to point out that my concern about this question was not regarding brainking staf... It was just about it being linked to in the main page and used for content that is out of date now.
Oh never mind, it really isn't that important!

pauloaguia: The purpose of that site is to provide information in case of BrainKing inactivity caused by a hardware failure [which is the reason why BrainKing.info is kept on a different machine not belonging to us].

pauloaguia: One of the first purposes of the BrainKing.info site was to give information to the users during down time (Since that site is on a different server then the game site.)

So if there is a time that you could not get to the brainking.com/brainking.cz site, you could go to the brainking.info site and hopefully get an update about the problem if it is a bigger problem that will not be fixed shortly. Luckly it has not been used for that reason very much.

Vikings: Yes, I know about the BK staff link at the bottom of the page. My main question was about the reason for BrainKing.info to exist and not the particular information that exists there or not (though I think the list of representatives could use a link to it in the payments methods page).

Is BrainKing.info still maintained? it seems a bit out of date and that link right on top of the main page may cause a lesser good impression for newcomers
The only thing there I can't seem to find anywhere on the site is the list of customer service members and representatives... which I think should be on BrainKing.com anyway.

Can anyone explain to me how a person who has over 50 games, 40 of them waiting on his first move can keep from timming out, when he has not been on BK since Dec. 28th 04. I only have one game with this person. It gets with in minutes of timming out, then gos back to 1 day ???

Subject: Re:
Czuch Chuckers: I believe Fencer agreed it would be good to just have the 1 backgammon board instead of 2.

For Chess, the Gothic & Janus (10x8 boards) get a lot of post, so it is good to have the 10x8 board - not sure if we need both a 8x8 board & generated position board.

Same for Checkers - not sure if we need both a 8x8 board and a 10x8 board since we don't even have any 10x8 games (yet), a good place to combine a little more.

But I think the rest of Fencer's plan looks good.

I dont know why there cant just be a board for backgammon and variant, and one for chess and all variants, then one for line games etc... Why do we need so many seperate boards for?

Fencer: Beter - will not have tons of boards with 10 post for the past 2 years!

Question: Do we have any 10x10 Checker variant games?

Comment: Feel free to combine the Backgammon & Backgammon variants boards into just 1 board. All the gammon games are some-what similar, and will do fine as just 1 board for all gammon games. (in my opinion.)
