Fencer: Thank you Fencer for changing your mind and making an exception. I actually took advantage of the deal on the 18th December which you would see in my PayPal account. Unfortuately PayPal has changed it rules and I was not aware that the transaction is not completed before 7 to 9 days. In the past the money was taken immediately. I now know that I either have to put money into my PayPal account or allow for the time period. It was just bad luck for me that that there were 2 weekends and the Christmas holiday that held things up.
Once again thank you.

Bernice: I don't want to keep on about this since Fencer has been good enough and changed his mind. Unfortuately for me the money did not get into Fencers account still 01/01/08 09.43.00. So I did technically miss the deadline. But since I had been in touch with Fencer several time before the deadline I was dissappointed that he did not give me the bonus as he was aware that the payment was pending.
Thank you for your input. And I am so grateful that Fencer changed his mind. I intend to give the bonus to someone who cannot afford membership and that was why I was so upset.

Bernice: Czech Rep is now part of the EU, which has adopted the VAT - so yes, they do that that now.

Little more info about VAT - since for myself in the US, don't know much about it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Value_added_tax

would there be any chance of updating the "Global Moderators" list as I believe that a couple have resigned for one reason or another. It makes it easier when you want to talk to one and theyactually are a Global Moderator.....thanks

Is anyone else seeing odd things with Tournamet results tables ?
I was just looking at one, which show a 2 section Tournament.
Section 1 has finished, and the winner coloured yellow YET there are no results in the boxes.
Section 2 is still running, yet every result box has a space for 2 results (which is wrong as it is only a one game match), but the first result shows as unfnished and the second as a draw in EVERY game.
I have tried a couple of Tournaments and go the same basic problem.

I thought it may have been Firefox having a funny moment, so have tried IE and it is the same

Example, look at this Madmonkeys 'Gammon' Stakes (6)

The final has just this second started, yet acording to the results a game has already finished, yet click on it and it has not even started

The section results are just loopy.

Subject: What's with the Poker link?

I put up with it for awhile just to humor whatever deal it was you thought was great.. but, now it is getting very annoying.. I am a paid member.. I buy memberships so I don't have to be forced to visit offbrand sites.. I don't care to have a cookie from these sites sitting on my puter because I got used to my Main Page link at the top of the list.. Please either offer a check box to those of us who are not interested in other sites.. or take the link off your site all together..

Thankyou..

Block User - This just blocks the user from sending private messages and seeing what they are doing online. No discussion board messages are hidden.

Hide - is for each board, and will hide the post from that user on that board only.

Hiding them on a discussion board keeps you from seeing their posts on that board. The red numbers still show up.
