So what is a max time you can leave BK Browser window open and do nothing and still stay logged in?

No, there was no such change.

Did you happen to restart the server in the last 20 minutes?

Why I ask is that the same thing happened to me as it did Erinity - Walked away from my desk - just over 20 minutes gone (Brainking window still up), try to then do something and find myself in guest mode.

Does the "don't remember any information" when you sign on have a short time limit?

I don't remember who requested the auto focus either, but I remember it was because they were unhappy that they had to sign in every time since the automatic login was gone..... which the auto focus only bothered me a little, so I did not complain.

But now that the automatic login is back - well then they don't need the auto focus anymore. :-)

Erinity: We were probably restarting the server at the very moment.
BBW: The auto focus was requested by someone. I don't remember who it was. But it can be removed, of course.

Why did I time out of my log in while in a game after leaving it for less than an hour? I went to make a move, and it said I was a guest.

Subject: Yea - Automatic login. (now we can lose the Java)
Hey Fencer - since you have that now, can we PLEASE remove the java (or whatever) that automaticly brings the page to the front with the "Username" already highlighted and ready to be typed in.

I know it was put into place to make some of the people who missed the auto-login happy, and now that the auto-login is happy - this can go!

At least once a day (usually 2-3 times a day), when I log on, I'll click to bring up BrainKing, go to another page, start typing something only to look up and find that brainKing took over my computer and what I just typed was entered into BrainKing as a username.... making me have to re-type it again in the correct page. At least it is only on the main page - It's like that on every page on Pocket-monkey - one of the reasons I don't play there. :-)

What's amazing is that (edit) and (edit edit) saw it wasn't going to hold up and bailed. They are not as dumb as they look. If there was any chance of any of it being true they would have been there like ugly on ape. I'm kind of sorry Floozie didn't leave it up because it made (edit) and (edit)look like the victims of a madwoman. The only thing I will say about UE is that he was super supportive in his PM's until one day out of a clear blue sky he sent me one saying "F*** you..you messed with the wrong man. Tick Tock." I just dismissed it as the work of an unstable person. Since then some friendly one's have appeared from him so I gave up. LOL.

Scarlet I'm here. I'm so confused between the Mastermind and UE related. I left his fellowships because he attacked me first thing and I tried being peaceful in there. Then everyone was leaving over Mastermind attitude and When I heard Ue was his son I finally left

Scarlet and Steve. This is a difficult call, and I am trying to be fair to all parties.

I do believe that hacking or using someone elses ID should not be taken lightly. And if it is being done that it should be delt with properly. I feel that this is a very serious accusation.

From what I am reading in your post SR is that you believe this is happening to members here and want it to be exposed. I totally agree with exposing that there may be a big problem, but I'm not sure that I agree with accusing people of things like this on public boards.

I am the first to say that I don't know any more than what I have read here. I also don't know the parties involved all that well. It could be true, it could be false; but in any case I don't feel that the names should have been posted, so I am editing. Sorry.

To Whom All It May Concern:

Last evening I learned a shocking discovery. A friend of mine from this site was having majors problems with his account. And, after speaking to him I realized his account was being operated by someone else who had learned his password. It was starting to become clearer to me now after I had been so confused especially the last few days. Someone figured out his password, and was playing certain games. As well as had written some threats in which they sent out privately. He was really concerned last night since he had confronted his son and others who had access to his computer.. His son was also a bit miffed since his account was going through the same confusion..

What is it like for opponents and friends of an ID who is getting in a sense, Hacked into.. Or for a better phrase, taken over by another person?

Endless waiting for a return of the game you are playing with them yet you see them online. Perhaps you are chatting with them and have asked them a question which you assume you would get a quick reply over..

Another sign is unanswered messages.. Seems the one taking over will delete those messages that come in asking why they aren’t answering the questions directed to them.

I also noticed a game invite I sent to him ended up being deleted several days ago, after he requested another challenge …

Glancing over the Boards and seeing either jumbled posts or posts that were written so out of character. I witnessed several times players angered by him not responding back on the boards when they saw his name was apparently online..

I also witnessed his son being on the site at the same time he was. How is this possible when they even state they use the same puter..

The frustration I heard from both he and his son last night while I was TALKING on my mic to him and HEARING him reply back, that messages were getting contorted, erased, sent and posted that he nor his son had any control of.

Who are the ID’s I am talking about.. They are the ID’s known as MASTERMIND and Universal Eyes.. Who is the one suspected.. ?? (edit) aka (edit) aka (edit) aka (edit).. Yes.. I said (edit) since Al (MASTERMIND) was playing checkers against her and noticed some of her moves were more like that of someone more experienced in the game.. Such as (edit) experience is known to be…

What made me pick through the confusion and not quickly judge or get angry at MAESTERMIND or UE? My experience.. Several years ago a dear friend of mine at another game site was struggling with the same thing.

Why I am posting this instead of AL or his son.. Because, no sooner will he post it it will be tampered with when they log off by the one who is accessing their accounts unauthorized to do so.

An apology also is extended out to Bumble, unfortunately you had been subject to the quick finger of (edit) booting you out.. NOT MASTERMIND.. (edit) must have been in his account during that time..

Another apology goes out to Skyking.. AL was asking what happened to make you up and leave.. He is just as confused as anyone else here..

And Stevie, I was asked to give you an apology as well. Universal Eyes account is going through the same problems.. Mike said he went into his account and saw all the angry pm’s and responded too quickly back, But he himself did NOT write those threats to you.

I think AD also received something.. And appologies were also extended to anyone who may have received a threat or a comment.

Thanks for listening..

ScarletRose..

You could always just open a page like dictionary.com that has a language converter, and paste it in there. It will give you a rough translation of what was said...

re the language problems :)

Just a link on each page on the left so that we can copy/paste what has been said into the language converter.
That way we could find out what was said and could then type in our answer and reply immediately. To me it is a bit rude having to just ignore what was said until I can find out the meaning of what was said :(
