Snoopy: Something similar happened to me. It had to do with a fellowship I deleted. (The Halma fellowship I had.) After I deleted it I was not able to join a 10x10 halma team. I haven't checked recently if I can join one yet.

Snoopy: When I go to another fellowship and see a team I already belong to another fellowship, it says I can't join.

Then right under the team, it tells me why - and that I'm still a member of another fellowship's team.

My only guess is that maybe you were part of a team of a fellowship which got deleted, and even though it no longer shows you part of a team, somewhere in the background it still has you attacked to the deleted fellowships team.

Hopefully Fencer will be able to help.

Or does it say you cannot join?

MadMonkey: Hey, take it easy man! It's just games, nothing serious, huh?

Furthermore, there was no downtime of the site itself and I saw about 100 online users all the time (today). Unfortunately we cannot be responsible for a DNS servers malfunction which caused a temporary non-existence of brainking.com domain in several parts of world. However, it was resolved in 3 or 4 hours, so it was really not a big issue.

Anyway, in case it happens again (which should not), try to use 81.91.83.6 instead of brainking.com. IP address should always work.

I also couldn’t access this site for an hour or two this morning. Perhaps it only affected certain locations? The 3 of us reporting this are all from England.

well, i have a question ?

I could not get on here today as i kept getting site not available (for just over an hour) !!

Once it got to 9.45 i had to go to a funeral, now i get back rom the funeral and there is no sign of anything being wrong, yet of course i have timed out on lots of games.

I can not beleive i have been the only one with problems.....all oother sites were fine, including brainking.info etc...

Not happy !!

nodnarbo: You can easily tell yourself. The current time should be within the interval shown when you hover the mouse pointer over the light bulb. If that is the case, the time is displayed in your time zone, and if not, it's the BK time (unless you're in the same time zone as Prague, of course). :)

One of the achievment awards is a black rook (if you gain all the bonus colour codes). I was just wondering if a black rook 'achieves' this, do they get to donate their black rook to another user?

Subject: Alert Pay
I used to pay by PayPal all the time. It was fast and easy. So, to test this Alert Pay, I set up an account (took less than ten minutes, picked a pawn from the registry, and sponsored him to see how quickly the transaction would take. It took about 30 seconds. I just checked and he's a bishop. so....IMO, Alert Pay is just as easy as PayPal. Maybe easier. It doesn't work as easily with bank transfer of funds (due to transfer fees) but they take credit cards, money orders (no fee) and checks (no fee). Looks like a good alternative to Paypal.
