May 2007, 05:48:18 Subject: Re:  Bernice: Yea, for the Fischer Clock Games - the most important thing is the "Bonus" time - since depending on when you make your move, that will be the minimum amount of time you have to make a move. Check out this article I wrote awhile back: http://brainrook.com/archives/54-Time-limit-for-games-on-BrainKing.html FOR EVERYONE - That article explains how the xx/xx/xx timed games work with examples and such - VERY helpful for anyone wanting to learn more about how the times work on this site. For myself, I rarely play Fisher Clock Games - and if I do, I always try to get a game that has at least 1 day bonus - since if I wait until the last minute to make my move, I know it will come back to me with at least 1 day to make a move. 24. May 2007, 04:06:04 Subject: Re: Bernice: Nope I read it wrong the first time. Time for GAME Means that the whole game is to be done in 3 days. You can earn more time by moving fast but only up to a total of 9 days for the whole game. So yes you timed out because the other person was the last to make a move.
