Since 9 new games have been added to this site, I really wanted to include those in the Dummies (rated 1500 & under) tournament. So I've created a second tournament which will start at the same time as the original tournament - so now you can sign up for almost all the games on this site!
IMPORTANT NOTE: Since they are new games, most player are unrated and can sign up. When the time comes to start the tournament, I will remove players which are way over the 1500 BKR limit to make it far to everyone.

below is the rest of the information:

Starting October 19th (MY BIRTHDAY!), is the popular "All games for dummies" tournament!
Most all available games are here!
All games for players rated UNDER 1500
Unrated also can join (but don't join if you are an expert at the game)
Great way to learn a new game
Great way to play a game without being "killed" by high ranked experts
NOTE - Since ratings do change, before the tournament starts, i will remove anyone who is way over the 1500 limit.
NOTE #2 - Pawns & Knights need 5 free game slots for each game.
Due to problems with certain prize tournaments [creators left the site without paying for a prize, etc.], I will prepare a small change in prize tournament policy - all prizes must be provided to me in advance and until it is done, the corresponding tournament stays in "unconfirmed" status and cannot be started.
It requires some code modifications, though.
Sorry to be unclear Fencer.... I wasnt trying to make you more busy. I just want people who read this board and are interested in playing in the 8x8 tournament to post in here and we can get another team together.... Thanks :)
Can I get a list of people available to play in the team tournament? I think there are enough of us out here who are floating around on unfilled teams to get together
While on the subject
KEVIN:any chance of speeding up your game please, so we can get round 2 started without it taking longer than a year for just the first...started December 03
Stevie's Gheckers
Polygonal Alien killers are looking for 2 strong 8x8 reversi players to join the team for the upcoming 8x8 team tourney.. Any one interested please contact Ripley at PAK
When I moderate a post of yours, you do NOT go back and restore it to virtually it's original state.
I've now removed the post completely and have banned you from posting for a couple of days.
And like rod said u seem to like picking on people when they don't move as fast as u like. But it's ok for u to pull crap all the time. Like if I remember right who the 1 that switched the number of days on a tourney right before it started from 3 to 7 days and then made them all 30 days. That seem a little more rude when some1 just making moves as they please. Ok back to my corner couch.
:o{P
It doesn't bother you??? You have been whining about this sort of thing since you first logged on to this site. You have bullied many people on this issue.
You don't fool anyone. You are just finding another way to pick on this person.
Grow up, please.
You have a good point about the knights. A lot of the players in the running tourneys are knights.
I guess it isn't the last minute, but I like to have things done in plenty of time! And I think that if people are willing to play, why wait until the last second to sign up?! But people do..
I have 6 towards my team (SCRL) keep asking for more.
I do feel anything above 5 or 6 team members is a bit much mind you, especially when tournies also have 2 games even when only 1 needed (backgammon ones).
I feel all tournies really only need 4 team members, and also means 1 person doesnt need to get bogged down with games by joining lots of tournies just so a team can join
... plus these tournaments were created with 15 days to sign up (which is plenty) - but the previous had about 30 days or so (which is too many) - so it is also looking like it's comming down to the last minute which it really isn't (Yet)
