Some tournaments end in a tie but I think there is always a winner.
I was in one that just ended and it was a three way tie but because I had the lowest BKR of all of us it gave me the win of the tournament :o)
pgt you are not Brain Rook yet and I do not care if the tournament says one day or fifty, they will still take a long time with the weekends and vac. days....... If you have a problem with it just do not play in tournaments, play with people you know are real fast players on the weekends and week days.
If you do not like the way he plays the games, try not to play against him.
You will ALWAYS find slow players in here, I just do not see what the big deal is unless you need to move up to Brain Rook so you can play more then 50 games or more then one tournament at a time.
I do not care how long it takes for a player to make their move, I just join more games and that player will make their move someday...... If you got plenty of games going you should not even notice a couple of games going slow.
Talking about that game again the 6 hours has come and gone along time ago, now she has 17 hours and she still never moved or even been online... I do not understand how she got 17 more hours to make her move?____ and the same thing happend to about three of my other games
I'm in a tournament in the second round and the person I'm playing against will time out after 6 more hours but she only made one move in second the game...... I already won the first game and I think the second round is only two games, does anyone know if my BKR will not go up because she is timing out and only made one move? I checked and the last time she was on was October 8
I just talked to people in PM and I see what your talking about now AD, but we got to remember we are playing games and if you can not win the tournament LIKE ME then we all try again and next time we might win.... I thought this was all just for fun, I have never won anything and I'm just happy to see my name at the top of the ratings at two different games :o)
What I'm trying to say is if there is people out there with phoney accounts That meens thay are not as good as their rating shows and I would love to play against them all the time so when I kick their but my rating get higher :o)

Ad: You have to stop and think if any pawns that you are playing against are phoney they must not be that good at that game so you should be able to beet them....... The way I look at it is, If I don't win the first round then I will get in the next tournament and try to win that one
I remember getting pounded by a player way back in Brain King 1 and the only way that person could have known where my ships were is by looking at my last reused patterns, I call that cheating.......So I will never reuse a pattern unless there is some way I could stop people from looking at my Battleboat games.
Its not cheating to look at public archived games but if you look at their past games so you can win yours its just not right for that person to loose...... I just wanted to get it out so every one would see that they might not want to reuse patterns
grenv before you write good grief again I think you should take some time to think, I think there is a way to cheat in Battleboats, I never tried it beause I do not play that way but if you look into a persons games that they have finished you could see the place all their ships were at...... And if they used that thing with their ships are in their places already to start the game they could be in the same places in your game with that person, once the game starts going you would be able to see and know where their ships are........... If this does work the only thing to do is put your ships into place by your self every time you start any battleboats game.
I play two very sweet people over and over in Halma and I win every time, That is one time playing when it is not fun to win. It would kill my rating if I lost by me wanting to loose and I realy dont want to turn down the games from these ladies because they enjoy playing against me.
Thanks for the advise, I just set one up tonight and I will not have to kick no one out becuase if they dont move in two days they will time out unless is on a weekend
LET ME TELL YOU SOMETHING... IF THIS SIGHT WAS NOT DOWN AT ONE TIME HE WOULD OF LOST THAT GAME BECUASE HE TIMED OUT... THE ONLY REASON THET GAME IS STILL GOING IS BECUASE FENCER HAD THE TIMER SHUT OFF
I'm right behind you IMupChucking, I dont like talking about people but some times it cant be helped...... I got a game of 10x10 Halma and it's a prize tourney going against Big Bad Wolf, It started about 9 months ago and we are not even half finished, he waits untill the last day before he will time out then he makes his move every time....... the worst part of it the game started way before the big black out, so what we had going we had to start over.... So far I won 9 games and lost won, so it realy looks like I'm going to win my part of the tourney, but it looks like it is going to take about 2 years to find out.... I would love to give that prize to a friend.........Wht gets me MAD is BBW is always talking in fellowships, he needs to be playing his games and not talking so they can get finished......I'm shure he reads this stuff so what he should do is when he is playing his games and he see's he is loosing click on RESIGN
