What do you all and fencer think of having Dominoes or Abalone Game... 2 of the best played... And what about Battle Ship outline... Trying to Outline the boats instead hitting them with a 5 hit accident limit?
If a 4 attacks a 5 and loses, shouldn't the 5 become revealed? Also if a 3 attacks a 4 and loses, the 4 should be revealed, shouldn't it? If it can be "only one thing", like when 4 takes 4 or 3 takes 3, should not the winning piece of your enemy be made clear?
How about forms somewhere on each page (at the bottom, at the top, wherever) where we can type in a number to jump to a certain game, or a certain Player's profile (by player number, of course).
It would be a quick way to go to a game if you know the number (like when someone posts the number on a DB), or to go to someone's profile for which you know the number.
Or like what they have on GoldToken works good - a Jump to Game# is listed at the bottom of each page (right above the Copyright) and the Jump to player (they use player name, but either would work) is at the bottom of each profile.
but you know anyway in some cases, so why make us track it in the notes? Once again I think marking the pieces is best if possible (same as notes but in a better place), though may not be easy to implement
Right now, considering there are only single games, a gammon and backgammon are just a normal win.
Do not get the "n-point" matches currently on this site confused with those of backgammon with the cube. The "n-point" matches here currently are just a series of single games, played until one player reaches the set number of points (win = 1 pt, draw = 1/2 pt).
If you mean "How soon are we getting the cube?", right after "BKR history and graphs." and "Bug #19." (Display a player's games with me only).
Well that's the point......if playing a "match" of x points wins, if you get the gammon or back gammon you get the extra points...as per the rules of Back Gammon.
Cube or no cube,(cube is better) a gammon/backgammon still gets you extra points. Moot point for a single game but Back Gammon players worldwide "live" for this side of the game...getting a gammon/backgammon on your opponent.
when i go into a board and see more than 50 messages unread i have more than 1 page of unread message on that board
(i can change the amount of messages per page, but 50 is nice, maybe even too much :))
when i then go to page 2 to start with the oldest new message all of the messages on page 2 are marked as not-new already since i already was at that board at page one .. is there a way to start at the oldest new message ?
well, right now, whenever that happens to me, instead of clicking the board link I copy it to the address bar and add, at the end, something like &bms=50 (or whatever number I want it to start at).
Interestingly enough, when I later click the link to go to the first page of the board, the messages still appear marked as unread :)
But I'd like to be able to click the red number ando go to the last message automatically just like you...
I would like a new "Membership Rank" in the fellowships. Currently there is "Big Boss", "Manager", and "Member". I would like to see either "Asst. Boss" or "Small Boss". This membership Rank would have all of the privileges of "Manager" plus the ability to invite and accept new members.
That was discussed before somewhere, but I'm for that idea.
Have a "Little Boss" which can do everything the BIG BOSS can do EXCEPT they can not delete the fellowship.
Maybe also not be able to remove a member from the fellowship (let BIG BOSS do that), but send invites, accept new players, creat tournaments, etc.... would be very helpful.
I run into that problem a lot too. Even with it set at 100 msgs per page. I too, have been wishing that there was some way for the unread messages on page 2 to still be listed as "New!"
I have one group with 6901 uread mesages, guess I might not catch up on all of them. What really astounds me is that there are many who will have read them all!

what do you think of a battle boats game that was just like the normal one except there would be three stars randomly placed on the bored after set up. If your opponent hits one of the stars he or she would then get to make five shots instead of one on the next turn. Or perhaps there could be two white stars that give you that option and one black star that would give it to your opponent instead. doesn't have to be stars though, it could be a plane or something else.
