joshi tm: Yes, it will be useful when the rest of the notation column is occupied by a banner ad.

Fencer: It's also useful to see when an Ice Age occurs without scrolling when you are playing about move 70.

joshi tm: I had to stop playing Ice Age Chess - since it is impossible to know when the 20th move is when you have notations turned off. Still have a request to put some sort of notice above the board (like gammon cube stats) to show what move you are on and/or how many more moves for an ice age.
