Subject: Re: Rotersand
Nirvana: Now signed to the German Dependent label, electro trio Rotersand follow their stunning debut album ( "Truth Is Fanatic" ) with eagerly awaited sophomore release "Welcome To Goodbye". For fans of sublime, melodic dance-floor edged electro it delivers the goods - from the churning, vocoder bombast of stomping hit single "Exterminate, Annihilate, Destroy" to slower symphonic synth ballads such as the title track and album closer "Angels Falling" that bookend the album. Between these two tracks lie 11 songs of pummeling club-electro ferocity with tracks such as "Dare To Live", "Last Ship" ( Clubbed Version ), "Storm" and "Undone" delivering hook-laden, driving and trance tinged anthems for the dancefloor, alongside slower more experimental workouts such as "Almost Wasted" and "Would You Buy This ?". Awash with swathes of melodic sequencing, powerful rhythms and euphoric synthpop overtones "Welcome To Goodbye" sees Rotersand rising to meet the challenge of established scene acts such as Covenant, Assemblage 23 and Apoptygma Berzerk.
